Should the barriers be safer?
Yes
NO actually less safer barriers
Yes
Yes
Is this really a question?
yes
That didn’t look hard
Neither did Earnhardt sr.’s crash. But he died so.
There should be safer barriers on all walls within reach of the racing surface. It’s ridiculous that there’s not at this point.
Woudnt it be rlly hard for pit crew with safer barriers on the pit wall?
You should have heard what Ryan said to the PRN radio reporter right after talking with the tv reporters…..
Ryan: That’s not a safer barrier, I don’t know why it’s not, but I will pay for the f*cking thing myself if I have to!
Could you all cry harder
cope, no excuse for the lack of safer barriers
Agree
I would have thought after Kyle Busch’s wreck at Daytona they would put the safer barrier on all the walls. Inside or outside
Definitely agree
Im not a betting person, but im willing to bet there will be a SAFER barrier there next year.
Remember Its not the fall or crash that gets you, its the sudden stop on impact.
Larry Mac is what this sport needs.
theres were every wreck 15 years ago. sad
Weird having no safer barrier there for a SUPERspeedway
The track isn’t really a “superspeedway”, it’s just named that. The track is shorter than all the intermediates which are 1.5 miles long. From what I’ve seen, superspeedways have been defined by either 2+ miles in length, or feature pack racing. Neither of those fit Nashville
It’s got to be said though…. probably not a good move to accelerate directly into the wall though. Blaney’s car hadn’t rotated nearly enough. Keep the foot off the throttle…there would be no video here.
The cars should be safer…
I was very concerned about his safety in this crash. Hopefully he’s alright.
This has been an issue for over a decade. Why are all barriers not SAFER barriers in this day and age?
Get em, Larry
