this race is gonna be pure chaos
These guys will get their butts kicked by the NASCAR drivers.
Mostly, yeah, but I think SVG, the Super car driver has a legit chance if he acclimates to the car quickly. I doubt he’ll win, but if he did, it wouldn’t shock me.
@Nomad ManGiven that he drives a Camaro back in his home series, it shouldn’t be too much of a jump. Definitely not a 1 to 1 switch but easier than say F1 or Prototypes to NASCAR. Marcos Ambrose made it work eventually.
@RDGamer321 True, but Ambrose also raced before road racing become as important is it has. The drivers now have more experience, on more tracks and so much more time in the stimulator, something they didn’t even use then. I see him running well and getting a top 15 possibly a top 10. However, if the race plays out right and he’s got the car, who knows what might happen.
I’m very interested to see his performance in the practice session.
Let’s see what happens and I’ll check your comments then aye ?
@Wazzajack My money says you won’t be back when the checkered flag falls.
I tried the Chicago Street Course on iRacing today and enjoyed every minute of it.
Could ppl pass?
@Nomad Man Yes. The first half of the track is very wide while the second half is very narrow. It’s just shaped as two different rectangles on opposite ends with so much hard braking.
They need to eliminate full course cautions if they’re going to do road course a lot
Adopting F1 style Local Yellows, VSCs and Safety car rules would do so much good for nascar on road courses and street courses
Button,Lally,Van Gisbergen all gonna get Top 5’s by default.
Where is kimi??
He ran at Cota
Where is the NASCAR paint schemes?
Shane knows how to throw around a heavy car on a tight curcuit. Go do yourselves a favor and watch that man drive at tracks like Surfer’s Paradise, Townsville, Bathurst, and Newcastle.
I want to watch this race so bad but I am going to be at the race track myself. I can’t wait to watch the highlights when I get home.
Kind of glad that their not talking much about Shane Van Gisbergen. Also hope he holds back away from the initial carnage and gets used to the car before carving his way through the field. Then again if he practices well and gets pole he won’t have to worry about that.
