This is a ridiculous idea. We aren’t trying to be like F1, and we shouldn’t be like them. Nascar doesn’t need a street course. Not now, not ever.
@KJ Productions cota is a purpose built racetrack with a 4+ car wide front stretch and look at the carnage now imagine that on a city street with 2 lanes, now look at macau gp pileup with sportscars

@Cody Moe I feel like the guys in NASCAR just sometimes drive way dumber than they really are for no reason so I don’t want to give a confident opinion on it’ll be like just yet, but I more or less agree with you lol. The kvetching behind the IndyCar race at Detroit right up until the actual start was absolutely INSANE, and then it was actually a pretty good race because the basic-ish track design lends itself to some action, contrary to the beliefs of internet people. I swear a lot of these weirdos online just have a bloodlust they project on the sanctioning body lol. But anyways we’ll see, it’s fun to drive in iRacing at least.
