So glad I was able to meet him at Elko!
Sad he DNF’d but was a great show.
Nice. I’ll say.
When was that??
He’s definitely showed potential in very limited arca starts for a mediocre team
I love how excited he gets lol. One question, and he’ll go off for an hour straight lol.
Lots of enthusiasm haha
@Eric Estepp Right? I hope he gets some truck and xfinity chances in the future 😀
This is ARCA we’re talking about here, but Muniz has legitimately been working hard this year to improve. I think he really does have what it takes to make it here, if he keeps doing what he’s doing. All I can say is, keep up the good work! Hopefully, we’ll see him holding a championship trophy over his head someday!
I’m pleasantly surprised with his results in ARCA, his consistency- like he said he just needs to start getting some wins
He’s racing for a mid team and already has the wear withal to not try to overdrive the car and consistently finish a bit better than the car he has by just being super consistent and learning on the fly. I’ve been incredibly impressed
So well spoken about his dream. It’s such a shame he couldn’t achieve this earlier. But still, doing it now than never is still amazing.
Of course he’s well spoken. He’s a professional actor. That’s not to criticize. Just to say that yeah….he’s gonna be very good in front of a camera.
What a heartwarming intro. He really explaining The road to racing quite well. I truly share this same passion for racing, I want to go racing. I want to be able to be competitive. But at this state of where I am right now,I think I’ll just have to settle for going out to those go kart places, having fun on them. And tuning into races on Sunday,Saturday,Friday whatever day of the week it is. But yes I’m going to make a push to get into racing. Weather that’s a crew member or a race car driver. I want to be involved in racing in some shape or form.
Hoping he gets to keep doing what he obviously loves! Very nice guy.
Sounds like an awesome, genuine guy. Love the bit about teaching his son the value of hard work over paying for everything.
Seems like a genuine dude & he’s got legit talent. Would love to see what he could do in the higher series.
Great Interview Eric!
Having led the points at one point this season, he’s earned my respect.
Awesome to see your excitement and passion for the sport. A lot of us will be pulling for you.
I met him in 2007 at the Cleveland Gran Prix when he was in Indy lights . He was down to earth and really easy to talk to. Wish him nothing but the best and hope he can climb the ladder.
This guy is 37 with the energy and enthusiasm of a 20 year old. Love to see it.
Sitting 2nd in points behind a guy half your age who’s won 4 races without even scoring a top 5 yet? That’s Mark Martin kinda stuff.
Keep diggin, Muniz. We will watch your career with great interest.
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone so happy to be in the car and so happy to be in the sport than Frankie is. He compeltely lights up anytime he talks about racing and speaks so passionately about it. If I had endless money there’s no one id rather fund than Frankie without question. His personality his amazing and he happily does whatever he needs to do to make his dream continue.
I think the advantage that Frankie has over most other competitors is his maturity level and his realistic goal setting. Kudos to him and I will be pulling for him.
I love Frankie’s enthusiasm. I hope he continues to build on the race craft and makes it up the ranks
