Cindric and his team is falling apart as we speak
That 2 team has been falling apart since 2021 started tbh. Even Brad was not that good in 2021. I wish we could bring back Brian Wilson with Cindric and right the ship

Does anyone have a count on how many xfinity and cup cars have already wrecked in practice/qualifying?
Why is there no safer barriers if someone has a hung throttle or brake failure its gonna be a concussion or maybe lung injuries
Pretty sure its hard enough already just to put up those concrete walls onto city streets not designed for it. I promise you if anyone gets injured in the cup series it’ll more than likely be the cars fault not the walls
He needs to go back to Xfinity and take Harrison Burton with him. Those two have no business being in Cup.

Neither does a driver who hooks others head on into a wall intentionally. Besides that, did you not see how good his rookie year was and his dominance in XFINITY? But sure, a rough second season means “no business in Cup” Hope you said the same about Byron when he struggled his first two seasons
@Austin Windric Byron never really struggled. He wasn’t winning races like he is now but he was still finishing in the 10 and top 15 consistently. Cindric struggles to even get top 15’s.
@mkwrockers0099 I’ll agree about Cindric not getting top 15s this year, but as a rookie he ran top 15 a LOT. Byron as a rookie had only 4 top 10s and 9 DNFS, but was decent in his second season.

Everyone when William Byron had one of the worst rookie years and struggled his first two and half seasons: He needs more time
Everyone when Cindric has a good rookie year, but struggles in his second: Move him back down to XFINITY, he does not belong in Cup.
Byron didn’t really do bad in his second year, he may have only gotten in by about 40 points to the playoffs, but he did nearly make the round of 8 as well as was close to getting wins at Pocono and Michigan. Keep in mind he was only 21 when he started.
I do see your point tho. Cindric has been having a rough time this year but no way he doesn’t deserve his car. He earned that Daytona 500 win and his other top 5s at the superspeedways. He still is only 24 and is managing to compete for the playoffs. Only 51 points out, so if his crew chief figures out how to make cars that work on road courses and Cindric doesn’t get caught in the big one at Atlanta and Daytona, I think he still makes it in.
It’s also kind of interesting to note both of these drives having bad career starts have came from their manufacturer struggling, even if it is more minuscule in Byron’s case.
@Vibrant I agree with you; both drivers started out their careers with their manufacture struggling and I agree with you about Cindric’s crew-chief. I think he needs Brian Wilson back. Byron got Chad Knaus in his second year and started performing. Once Ford improves and Cindric gets another crew-chief (especially Brian Wilson) I think he’ll improve greatly.
