I got a great idea. Let’s start nascar races in the late afternoon during the summer when thunderstorms are likely to pop up! Genius!
Well when else are they supposed to do it? It’s not like they can do it during fall because the city needs some access to the park

That’s completely irrelevant. Nascar has been running in the rain at road courses for years. In fact, people love when they’re run in the rain just for something different. Myself included.
Edit: My bad, didn’t see it got postponed for lightning. No getting around that.

Tough race and tight road course for those big Nascars. That kind of racing on that type of road track is like watching F1 racing – all single file and limited passing.
Too bad it wasn’t Televised on local NBC. All we saw was the 3rd round Senior Golf open.
Hope the main race is Televised Sunday on local NBC.

Well, looks like they should do a racing doubleheader racing tomorrow Xfinity boys are going to go at it again tomorrow morning and then the NASCAR big boys start tomorrow afternoon into the evening should be a good race in Chicago. I just wish CM punk would’ve been the grand marshal, because people that know wrestling, know CM punk.

@Struggle Gaming speaking of racing did you hear yesterday? I don’t know. Yes, it made the news actually but over 20 cars broke into the race track and did drifting on the race track. It was in the news yesterday. I couldn’t believe it what I said to myself only in Chicago. Unbelievable.
Rough as guts street circuit. Don’t they have chicanes and street kerbs to bounce off like the Aussie super car drivers do, will see what the race is like. Look forward to watch SVG in action
Honestly, let’s try and do a standing start like F1. That could add extra excitement. Seriously if not here cause the turn before the start, how about doing a standing start at wakings glen.

Wasn’t there a street race in pacific northwest in the 80s for the west series.
Wasn’t the Daytona beach race technically a street course
Not too bad I guess but I did not see a lot of passing which was one of my concerns. The other will be cautions for both Xfinity and Cup. I think there will be loads.
Looks like it’s fun to drive there .
