Now imagine how much better and faster Shane could be if they were to cater to his dominant side and custom built a car for him with a right hand side steering wheel with stick shift on his left side? he would have been more beast and at the very least another couple of seconds faster. Not to mention he said it himself he ”left a lot on the table” as he wasn’t fully comfortable with the brake pedal set up as well as other aspects of the car he couldn’t have as he would have wanted. And he is currently in 4th ranked place for championship points and 8th-9th rank overall in terms of skill at the moment.

The V8 Supercar fans in America knew all about SVG. We’ve been waiting for NASCAR to modernize the cars so something like this could happen. After giving up on NASCAR I’m again a fan.

Big reach but would love to see BTCC regulars like Turkington or Sutton get a chance at a NASCAR road course. A lot of them do historic races at Goodwood Revival, driven a pretty diverse array of cars. Turkington, Hill especially would fit right in.

As an Australian who doesn’t watch Nascar, this made me interested. I’ll definitely keep up to date with it.
I also think some of these American drivers need to come and drive Bathurst here in Australia. I think they’ll cream their pants with excitement around that track.

For us back in New Zealand this was not a surprise but hopefully next time he is over there he can show them his full potential once he gets use to those cars and racing
They just got a sneak peak at what he is capable of on track
Can see a lots of nascar teams maybe suddenly looking at supercar series in Aussie to see who they can recruit lol

He’s made for big V8 sedan racing, unbelievable. He can only improve whatsmore. Haley and a couple of the other boys were also very, very good in tough conditions.
