I know that Richard and Kevin was holding back tears in that moment. Dale sr is jumping up and down watching this.

The moment when Richard Childress and Kevin Harvick got beside each other, is worthy for a screenshot or photograph. That was really nice.

If you don’t have tears in your eyes watching this there’s something wrong with you.

Disagree. Its Kevin Harvick. He doesn’t want Earnhardt fans.

Or just wasn’t born then.

@themystic If you even heard a second of him talk, you would know that’s not true. He wanted to be his own man which he did go on to do and nothing wrong with that. Everyone wants to not be in a shadow. But he never for one second expressed hatred for what he got to do for everyone else in that 29 car. It was a lot of pressure he didn’t care for of course, but he loved what he got to do for Richard, for Sr, and for the fans. And several times he said he knew it was the right thing to do. And if that isn’t proof enough. Kevin was the one to have a hand in the paint schemes after Rockingham, hence the switch from white and black to white and red. And one thing that never left the cars was a small number 3 on the driver side door.

It’s enough to make a grown man cry, and that’s ok

Those old Generation 4 Cup cars absolutely put the Next Gen to shame. Sport was booming, racing was great. Ah, the nostalgia.

This race was a really good one. Hopefully the NextGen is starting to come into it’s own

Not a huge Harvick guy but this was a special moment.

From trying to fill the shoes of Dale Earnhardt Sr. to winning a Championship. Harvick has come a helluva long way and is a first ballot Hall of Famer if you ask me.

Imagine Kevin driving the recent throwback 29 car that Haas and RCR put together side by side with his first 29 car
