You’re my boy, Willy B! Go 24! Much love from Texas!
Willy B is on fire this year it wouldn’t be surprising if he won the championship this year
@StevenP727 gosh I hope so!
Good racing on Sunday. Atlanta is now the best superspeedway on the circuit. Say what you want about this win….no one really likes a shortened race win (except of course, for the winner!)….but Byron overcame a lot problems and had to drive up from the back. Took the lead legitimately. Looked like he was holding off the rest. Would he have held on for the full race? No one knows, but he had a great car and he drove it well. There’s reason he’s the only driver with four wins, so far.
You know what I like less than a Rain Shortened race? When one guy leads a few laps under green at the end and several times more under caution at the very end and ends up winning. There also is no “best” superspeedway racing, it’s all the same no matter what track you’re on. I think what happen last week with Cole Custer left a bad taste in peoples mouth and this is very similar.
@The Glocktopus What did that one guy have to do in order to get to the lead at the right time. They all knew the rain was coming and were driving like madmen to get track position before it came. This wasn’t given to Byron. He earned it the hard way by driving through the field to get there. Very much like Jimmie’s last championship at Homestead. He passed every driver on the track and was there in the end when it counted. That’s a well run race.
Yeah William
Ty Gibbs will definitely win in the future because remember when we was saying “when will Chase Elliott ever get his first cup win?”. Now look at him he’s a champion and is in the hunt to win another championship year in year out
Only matter of time for Gibbs and other rookies
