I was in victory lane for the last few laps and after the race. There were probably 500 people watching the screen and going absolutely nuts when he won. His dad was standing by me most of the time which was pretty cool as well
By the way how cool was it to see Matt Yocum working in the pits again for a NASCAR race, cause it had been a while. Almost three years, but it was great to see him working his 1st NBC NASCAR telecast since 2006 it was pretty nice to see and did the winners interview in victory lane, which we hadn’t seen a lot in last 5 years! But it was refreshing to see.
Also in WI you can legally drink underage with your parents, protip for under 21 year olds looking for their first win to party after the race, I hope Mayer enjoyed himself.

That was cool. I was in Turn 5 and yelling as he got his first win.
The Repaved Road America was great! Great racing, fast speeds… but that also meant more wear and tare on the brakes and several brake failures.

1 overtime woulda been fine but NASCAR really REALLY fucked the 1st one. Call the 19 down pit lane and number 2 coulda been avoided
The support series was doing local yellows, absolutely no reason nascar can’t.

Riley Herbst spinning twice and getting put in the back twice near the end to come back and finish 5th is pretty darn impressive.
