How many wins do you think Chris Buescher will get this season?
7 in the end of his career
6 this season
Like 3 more this season so 4
He may get another because he’s sneaky good on super-speedways and he’s a very good road racer
Maybe 1 or 2 more
I’ve been telling people for years he’s the most underrated driver. He’s not elite but definitely underrated
That’s what I’ve been telling people
Same here.
He’s outpacing BK in his prime. That’s pretty elite if you ask me. I think he’s on par with Blaney and better than bowman
Keselowski could’ve easily overlooked his abilities. Really glad he kept Buescher around.
@connor bingelwhile thats true, i also think BK is dumping more resources into Beuscher than himself. Beuscher has won in both 2022 and now 2023 (so RFK has speed), and Beuscher just got the new hauler as well, not that that has anything to do win on-track, but shows the moneys in him
I love to see RFK turning it around. Not that I am a huge Rousch fan or anything, just like to see the teams I grew up on compete. Always happy to see guys like ChrisTOPHER Buescher get a win!!
RFK, after all these years of being at best an outsider team, is officially back as a real threat for the championship battle. Need a little improvement here and there, but they’re playing it the same way as RCR, Trackhouse and 23XI, two charters teams with excellent drivers to not underestimate. Glad to see the #6 and #17 running for the win again. Chris Buescher is a criminally underrated driver.
NASCAR as a whole is having an incredible momentum right now, props to them.
As a long time Roush fan(mark martin era) i do wish you were right as a championship contender but one more year then they are. They are a Round of 8 threat
Christopher Buescher is maybe the most underrated cup driver. I’ve always respected how well he ran for lower tier teams and how he’s helped bring Roush back to prominence.
2015 Xfinity Series Champion, 2016 Pocono fog winner for Front Row, had good runs at JTG Daughtery and is the 1st to win 2 races for Roush since Stenhouse did it in 2017.
If he keeps this up, Chris will be a champion in the next 5 years.
Wouldn’t count it out either. He’s an Xfinity champ.
I think he’s a Martin Truex type driver phenomenal in xfinity decent in cup just needs the right pieces to excel and with Brad he’s finally getting it
It feels so good to see Chris finally showing how good he is in the right equipment.
The right team
Not equipment. You can have great equipment but in the wrong team
I’m very excited to see what he can do in the future
Chris Buescher is guy I really like to secretly root for. He’s very solid, gets the job done the majority of the time, doesn’t overdrive or tear up his stuff, which sounds very in line for Roush drivers of the past, so he in a way was always a perfect fit for the team. But with them looking stronger and stronger this year, I feel his potential is starting to unlock more, and his Richmond win was very much proof of that.
Buescher always had it. His biggest upside is his ability to just keep his nose clean and be there in the end, which is the most important aspect these days.
I was impressed he edged Elliott for 2015 Xfinity championship. He is also the last Xfinity champion under the full season points before NASCAR doubled down implementing playoffs at Xfinity and Trucks in 2016.
Pocono 2016: Buescher wins, with Keselowski finishing second, the best finishing driver of those that pitted before the yellow.
Bristol 2022: Buescher wins after Keselowski loses a tire while leading.
Richmond 2023: Buescher wins after Keselowski was leading late and had issues in the pits.
And as a bonus: Brad Keselowski won the 2016 Talladega race in which Buescher flipped down the backstretch.
I started really paying attention to Chris sometime during the 2020 season, and by the end of 2021 easily could call him one of my top favs in the field. It’s been amazing to see his growth in the series, and especially how quickly he seems to have adapted to the NextGen.
I paid attention to him during his Xfinity run and the beginning of his cup career. I always knew he had talent and probably could’ve had more than 5 career wins by now.
I remember Buescher’s 2015 Xfinity Title. Then he became a mid pack afterthought even in Roush equipment at times. With RFK’s rebuild, he’s seized the opportunity with both hands. That is the ultimate sign of a good driver coming to life. I think Buescher has a double-digit win career coming up
I think he’s even staying at RFK for as long as Roush wants him to stay and once he finds the top tier ride on another team he will let him go.
I’m so glad that Chris is the first one too taste success over Brad K, given that he’s pretty much been a roush guy from the start, I know Brad’s day will come soon!
You brought up MTJ as far as where Chris Buescher’s potential to be a playoff contender soon. In 2024, Brad Keselowski will do everything in his power to drastically improve the culture of RFK Racing.
Fun Fact: Chris Buescher scored his first career win before Kyle Larson, Austin Dillon, Ryan Blaney, Erik Jones, Chase Elliott, Alex Bowman, William Byron and Michael McDowell each scored their first career win
It’s cool both Buescher and Stenhouse are in the playoffs this year after that swap
I have to admit that Brad Keslowski has definitely started turning RFK around quickly.
