Funny how when Deegan’s doing bad in trucks it’s the series fault, yet if she was actually winning races nobody would question the legitimacy of the series. That door only swings one way for fans
I don’t judge her by the truck series because the truck series sucks I look at how well she did in xfinity 13 on her first xfinity start and everyone raced her with respect in trucks you have drivers that refuse to finish behind a female driver

Catch a break? She does her fair share of wrecking herself and others and consistently puts herself in bad spots because she does not have the talent to run up front.

You know yesterday SRX race she got into a wreck in the beginning that brought out a red flag, then she was able to get in a back up car and she finished P2, So to me it is just the lack of respect and discipline by drivers and officials that is the issue, Really she needs to move out of the NASCAR Truck side out of the demolition derby it is to me, officials do not really officiate that great it is like Oh I can wreck you and not get in trouble for it! What happened to the old fashion way if you caused a crash intentionally you either get a black flag and you go to back or you get Disqualified that is what I mean by old fashion way!! Hailie Deegan needs to go Nascar Xfinity Do not forget she place P13 last year in Las Vegas on her Xfinity Debut but the issue is funding and sponsorship it cost a lot of money to run a good Nascar Xfinity Team! I really want to see her move up but the other thing is she does have a new team where she went to this year as Thor Sports and sometimes when you change it takes awhile to get into the grove with your new team, you just don’t move and win right out of the gate it does not work like that! And I say Experience Matters and like for me, I am crossing guard and I have been with my private security company 6 years this August and I am planning on staying with them long term, so that is my logic to why I say experience matters and Hailie Deegan cannot be compared to Danica Patrick, she is different and sometimes it is not good to move up to fast and that is what happened to Danica!!!!

3 years in winning equipment and 0 top 5’s suggests maybe it just that she is better on dirt

Took her 2 race cars to do it.
How many times have you watched a race and seen Deegan in 7th place after passing like 10 cars and moving forward? How about starting 5th and staying up at the front all race? Great Truck series drivers who move onto an Xfinity ride do this. There are moments where they are just moving forward (passing on the track and not strategy) and you don’t care where they finish because you see their speed and know they got it. Does Deegan do this? Does anyone say damn she is running so fast and just has the worst luck and can’t get the finish to match her speed? In a race of attrition Deegan may finish 11th but never show speed and is just hanging on for her finish. In other races she never shows speed in finishes 19th. In other races its worse because either she wrecks or because she is midpack is involved in someone else’s doing, but has no speed in the car there either. Forget the stats and the results which are absolutely terrible, how many times in her nearly 3 full years as a Truck Series driver has she shown top 5 speed, something you don’t need to finish a race to do?
All this is true, but shes also shown talent in XFinity in her one race, not to mention the other series she competes in. But Truck series is a wreckfest. Looks like an Iracing Lower Split lobby.
@Devin Poli Jesus Christ one race and you’re on cloud 9. Who is this awful in trucks and becomes magically “good” in Xfinity like everyone else is saying? And you can’t say Harrison Burton because he was a rookie and was gifted a chase spot multiple times on a silver platter yet choked every time. Deegan hasn’t come close to that.
You can say that very same thing about half the field in Trucks. Remember she is raced hard every lap by every driver on every race. Nobody want to be passed by a Girl. I like where she is at in Trucks. I think another year with this same team is a huge help. You missed one very important part. She is not qualifying where she should be and that needs work. That is a problem because she has shown she is capable of running up front on certain tracks She has got to qualify better and at every track. Running in the 22an position is no where near running in 15th. Running the top ten is like a completely different race. Not sure what happened tonight but Deegan doesn’t make very many mistakes. Running 20th is the worst place to be in any auto race. She needs to qualify better or that might be the real issue of her success. I’m glad you didn’t say she needs to be more aggressive. That is not the problem. She needs to actually qualify to the playoff. Forget the wins. Get to the playoffs.

Should she be running better? Yes. Does she catch any breaks the other drivers would get? No. Same with Danica, the ladies get used up by the other drivers because there is no risk of eating a fist after the race. Crew chief, boyfriend, dad, somebody needs to make ONE of these intentional wrecks have consequences. The saying is the garage is self-policing only works if the victim can handle business. Why do you think Denny has used up Larson so many times? Do you think Bubba would have pushed around on somebody his own size at Vegas last year? I don’t think Hailie is a threat to win a championship, but I think she is as good as half the field in Xfinity right now. Was only one race, but she kinda proved that last fall at Vegas.
When watching live … There was in-car camera footage & track footage…but, FS1 cut short of showing it…how the wreck took place. IDK
Solid 31st place finish, that’s about her average finish.
