Shane van Gisbergen enjoyed his debut oval qualifying session, despite describing his first afternoon in the NASCAR Trucks Series as “tough”.
Feel bad for Hailey Deegan, she just finished 2nd to Tony Stewart on Thursday night in the SRX series and now back to the same old same old in the truck series.
garbage truck drivers like the 04 of Landen Lewis on the track and no one is safe…
She needs 1 year in a good Xfinity car… pass/fail.

the Only girl in NASCAR makes for an easy target to vent their own insecurity’s… the people who criticize others have failed in their own lives and as failures they turn into a virus.
@danno I’d love to see Kelly and Dale Jr. Take Hailee under their wings give her great equipment a great team and see what she can do. People fail to realize she’s only 21 people talk down on her but she’s still very young.

She drives for one of the best teams in the truck series.
Mate, give up the simping. Shes in one of the beast teams and is constantly wrecking her self or finish in the back of the pack.
She needs to get out of the stupid series and move to the cars where drivers are actually in control. She is proving she can drive cars every Thursday night. Plus there is way more respect in the SRX Series.
Hallie Deegan, Brandon Jones, and Riley Herbst are the biggest jokes in NASCAR.

The broadcasters need to do a BETTER job showing the sponsors when they can. I don’t think any of them do it enough.
Great race tonight
Hailie Deegan needs out of a truck. The drag coefficient on these things is nothing compared to a regular stock car. She ran so well in SRX and came up just barely short to a three-time NASCAR champion ON DIRT. Put her in an Xfinity ride and let her figure things out there. Being in the truck series in a field comprising of young, high school-aged boys and men who never hit it off in Cup is not going to do her any bit of good.
She is in very good equipment and always qualifies and finishes behind her teammates. This is a results oriented business and there are zero on track results. She is not a good qualifier and a few times this year she is caught up in early crashes. Some her fault like Nashville. Not sure how putting her in a car against better competition makes any sense especially in a Ford where Custer and Herbst are battling the butts off to just be competitive. The on track results tell you everything you need to know. Should have a couple top 5’s this season in this equipment
Deegan just isnt a good race car driver. Stop making excuses about the car, any good driver should be able to adapt to the car with all the practice she’s had, and she still gets dominated every single week and usually takes out half the field.
Cup boys should race at IRP once at least, they are trying everything else
