What drivers do you want to see most in SRX season 4 come 2024?
Johnson, Gordon, Junior, Biffle, Edwards, and Kurt Busch need to compete against each other again. That would be fun!
Robby Gordon please.
The broadcasts the stop glitching out
JIMMAY
Junior, Gordon, Chase getting another opportunity in it too name a few
I just want to see a longer season. Maybe 8 or 9 races.
A 12 race season would be perfect. Also add more card to the field. Thompson would be a good track for them to race at.
Well said
@Ben Walter I think 10-12 races would be good. Some ARCA tracks I would like to see the SRX Series race at are:
1. The Berlin Raceway (7/16th mile-long Paved Track in Grand Rapids, Michigan)
2. Elko Speedway (3/8th mile-long Asphalt Track in Elko, Minnesota)
3. DuQuoin State Fairgrounds (One mile-long Dirt Track in DuQuoin, Illinois)
4. Salem Speedway (5/9th mile-long Paved Track in Salem, Indiana)
Could also go to Sheboygan County Fairgrounds (in Plymouth, Wisconsin) it’s a smaller track (idk the actual size) and the racing there is always good to watch and very competitive.
I disagree. If the drivers wanted to do a long season, they would’ve stayed in their series.
I’d like a bigger field with local talent out there.
What SRX needs to do is get rid of the pointless fun flags
Plus, I think the schedule needs to be 8 races long instead of 6.
Perfect take. The fun flag is totally unnecessary but they wouldn’t have to use that desperate measure for “entertainment” purposes if they added more cars to create lap traffic. I think 8 is perfect. 4 in June and 4 in July.
When Smoke was on Pat McAfee’s show recently (couple/few weeks ago), he was there promoting his NHRA team, had a funny car and top fuel on display. I don’t remember him even mentioning SRX, he may have, but that was one missed opportunity in my opinion.
Especially since Pat is going to be on ESPN
I have no hope that ESPN will advertise SRX trying to get ESPN at advertise other motorsports is a losing battle. They barely even talk about F1 on the regular. So the only way SRX will be able to advertise is social media and that’s it.
Lol what is there to talk about in F1 right now
They have to update their video game with 2022 and 2023 drivers and tracks. Also need to do 9 races, 6 paved, 3 dirt, and maybe even a winter series where they go down to southern tracks in October, November and even December so they can be a part of the snowball derby. Needs 16 cars, 10 full time, 5 rotational, and 1 car for local ringers. If they REALLY wanna push it, maybe get a TV market like Nashville or smth and have a race or two on ABC.
Agreed!
Yes update the SRX video game please
When did SRX have a video game? And what systems can I find it on?
SRX needs a bigger field and a longer season. The racing was really fun this year especially Stafford.
SRX shouldn’t have let their YouTube channel go dormant. They covered every race from the first season and had behind the scene footage….then crickets.
Right?! I mean it’s still dormant and I’d like to see more behind the scenes stuff more often that means more testing, getting sponsorships, etc.
i would love to see Robby Gordon in Season 4, him being in here would be awesome
Nascar needs to buy Indy car, and srx needs to do a partnership with them so we get Thursday-sundays between 5 different series all over the place from June-august with srx moving up to 12 races
100% more local racers. The me that came in at Slinger who was like in high school going toe to toe with Stewart was fantastic. Moments like that will appeal to casual race fans and just sports fans in general. 16 is a nice even number for the inversion.
Also, so glad to hear love for Berlin! Hope they come back here next year!
They can probably afford more advertising without Paul Tracy
Lmfao no doubt
If you went to Lucas and watched that race live, you would be hooked on this series. Wow what a race
MOAR KFB!!! 🙂 Also my favorite part of this season is when the booth calls-up the drivers WHILE they are trying to race, lol, awesome.
Im with you on the promotion aspect. I really like the series, but if it werent for Racefan84 uploading the races immediately after they ended I wouldve missed the entire season after race 1. I just kept forgetting that the series was on this year.
I’d like to see 10 races.
5 Paved short tracks, 3 dirt ovals, 1 road course because they’re kinda already set up like road cars from what the drivers say, 1 intermediate oval for the grand finale so we can see these cars at full tilt for once.
I read an article where they interviewed Tony Stewart about the future of SRX past this year, and he actually brought up some interesting ideas. First, Tony said he’d ideally like to have an 8-10 race season moving forward. Second, he said that in a perfect world they would have a 24 car field for each race. And on that note as well Tony said there’s two drivers who haven’t run a SRX race yet who he’s making a big push to try and get for next year: Dale Jr. and Jeff Gordon. Finally, and this was the most interesting idea Tony brought up in this article in my opinion, he’s looking to possibly do two SRX seasons per calendar year. That is, doing their summer season like they already do here in the US, but then also have a second season during the winter where they go overseas and visit a bunch of overseas race courses in places where it would be considered summertime in the southern hemisphere. Of course, a lot of this stuff he brought up is currently limited because of the current budget and staff the SRX has, but I would personally like to see all of this stuff happen should all the stars align…
If I hadn’t been following SRX on Instagram, I would have no idea that the races were even being broadcasted. Agree 100% on them needing a better outreach on social media.
I loved this season! I watched every race and I think they put on a great show. Only thing I’ve seen on social media was from SRX. Didn’t see anything from ESPN. I agree we need a couple more cars out there and 2-4 more races.
