Congrats to Byron, but DEF wanted to see McDowell go back to back
Sad to see how it went down for him. Looked like it was gonna be 34, 11, 24
Mistakes will cost a win but he got back to the top 10
Me too!
ME TOO…. But a momentary lapse in thought.
McDowell wins this race easily if not for the mistake on pit row.
I think you’re forgetting who the only DNF was.
Didn’t matter, he had a car problem in the end.
Mcdriver must have missed a shift and buzzed the motor? Roush Yates horsepower is usually bulletproof.
This not being able to pass stuff is getting old.
Bad boring race
That’s the “new car” and it’s crappy packages that lead to this. Just let them race NASCAR! If you’re scared, “Get out of the car, the car, Cole! “!!!
Clearly, Byron has been the driver to beat in 2023. The only question is which driver could take him down, and the only one I can think of is MTJ.
Real happy for Byron’s first road course win, but man I felt so bad for McDowell he was doing real good. Larson was doing good up until that penalty exiting the pits set him back
William Byron has won as many races for Hendrick Motorsports as Dale Earnhardt Jr., Darrell Waltrip & Tim Richmond
Dang that’s crazy
To see McDriver be as dominant as he is right now is exciting. If he can be competitive during the playoffs, he might be the Alan Kulwicki of our generation! He has certainly put in his time and persevered. I remember hanging with him in Fontana as we shared a condo with Trevor Bayne after revor won the Daytona 500. Michael and I were driving around Fontana and went to a Kinkos to print hero cards at a Kinkos while he was driving for one of the lowest teams in the Xfinity series. He had the same humility and drive as he has now! His attitude has never wavered. He is a fighter. I hope when it’s all said and done, fans will appreciate him for his work ethic, faith, and perseverance.
Ngl I think it’s neat Byron is making his own identity in the 24, can’t be easy with everything jeff accomplished in that car!!
Great race! Even though it was more of a strategy race, it was far from boring! Love this track! It is one of the few tracks that always delivers! 7/10 race. Haters are always going to hate and will always complain if the race does not meet their expectations.
Awesome job by Byron! Congrats!
Everywhere else in the racing world they worry about cars ‘exceeding track limits’ love that nascar let’s their cars use every part of the track and then some. Great race
I was there live. Nice hot day for it. Ty Gibbs really impressed yesterday at the Xfinity race and had a strong outing today as well. Congrats to Byron. He ran a heckuva race.
A great showing by Ty all weekend, for sure! Thanks for coming out to the race!
This looks like a really good track, love it
Didnt get to watch but Im hyped for Daytona. Lord please no weather delays!!
