too many commercials. At one point, leaders were coming up on lap cars which I wanted to see how they dealt with the lappers…commercial break

Less downforce, more horsepower…. Make the cars harder to drive so that there is a differential in skill and more passing. Hard to pass when everyone is the same speed….

They can’t really take more downforce off, I would say reduce the braking ability and go back to 750 HP

It’s not lack of horsepower but rather the rear diffuser. Also there’s something about the front end design of the Camaros that seems to make it better at the short tracks & road courses.

William Byron has won as many races for Hendrick Motorsports as Dale Earnhardt Jr., Darrell Waltrip & Tim Richmond

Imma Byron fan so my thoughts on the race are incredibly biased, but trying to be objective I thought it was pretty mid. Happy my favorite driver stunk up the show though

I don’t if you know this or not but have you ever seen two races in a row have 1 caution and that was it. Im used to it in indycar but not in nascar like this.

Gen 6 vs Next Gen
Short Tracks (less than 1.5 mi)
Gen 6 > Next Gen

Intermediates (1.5-2 mi)
Gen 6 < Next Gen Superspeedways Gen 6 > Next Gen

Road Courses
Gen 6 > Next Gen

This year everything other than the on track product has been excellent. Time to change it.

On track limits, F1 is ridiculous, but putting a strip of gravel just outside the line would be a decent solution, or just paint it all of it with really glossy paint to lower the grip they get by going out there.

Too much extra space on corner exits, no need to brake heavily for turns has taken away passing opportunities under braking into turns
