The NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs are less than 7 days away as of releasing this video. From the 16th position on down there is a huge fight to make the final spot in and heading into the weekend at the Daytona International Speedway it is not hyperbole to say that it is anyone’s game. The real question is who holds the edge for it. Today we look at all of this. This is your 2023 NASCAR Playoff Cutline preview.

Who do you think gets the 16th and final sport in the 2023 NASCAR Cup Playoffs?
Realistically Bubba because all he has to do is have a good day and not wreck out
Maybe Ty Gibbs if he doesn’t wreak
Bubby
Hubba Bubba all the way!
Chase is screwed
Remember tho, Bubba was half a lap and a bad block from winning at Talladega, at Daytona he got a bad push from Truex and broke a Towlink, he was stuck in the back at Atlanta all day (I was at that one)
If legit he got a good push at Daytona, dubskee.
Travis at Daytona almost pushed him into contention to until cars started spinning too.
This Daytona Race Could Be ABSOLUTELY Crazy if no weather or clown foolery happens
Lmao clown foolery
@michael curtis Clownery in NASCAR is real lol.
Crazy because there apparently won’t be rain for the Daytona weekend on Saturday with how the weather has been.
AJ Allmendinger said his strategy for Daytona this week is “Win, or crash.”
That pretty much sums up racing at Daytona and Talladega in general.
“Win, or crash”
There is also “Win and Crash”
@cadillacjohn1994 or you can finish second or third, he’ll you can even finish fifth
Hopefully he finds the 23 early on and ty has himself a career day
I am so excited and so nervous at the same time for the regular season finale
I wish it was over.
Same
Kinda like Cindric, he always Qualifies well at these tracks and Penske has always shown speed here
I wouldn’t be against Austin Cindric winning another one.
Bubba could finish outside 20 with Ty getting a top 5. I dont know it could get tight, depends on who’s in “the big one” if there is one.
It’s Daytona
Man, it would be hilarious if all the bubble guys got caught in one wreck
Sleeping on Ryan Preece imo. Always fast at Daytona. If he can avoid the big ones I think he’ll have a real shot at it
Are we not going to talk about Kevin Harvick making into the playoffs with this system on points? That is phenomenal!
Brad too.
@Nomad Man I feel like Brad Keselowski is kinda underrated.
No because they are guaranteed in and this video is about the drivers who can win or point in
As someone has already said here “it’s Daytona” but I’m looking at Keselowski to win, but Wallace has been quietly a superspeedway ace, if Wallace’s team can get the pit stops down he can tear through the field and potentially win, as for Keselowski, do I need to explain what he can do, plus his team (RFK) has been on fire with Buescher, on top of that Keselowski has won superspeedway races with multiple different packages
Would be nice for Brad Keselowski to win for a change. Been a while since he last won a race.
Make it poetic with the 6 winning at the same track that the number won 12 years ago. At the same race too (summer daytona race).
Joey Logano wins, and Wallace stays out of trouble. The extra sting of Bubba in over Chase will be awesome to watch on Twitter. As for the 22 team, they need some momentum, and like it or not, they cam throw the switch as proven before. Still gonna root for KFB though.
Bubba Wallace is still one of the best at plate racing in gen 7 every race he runs 5-1st on the last lap and if not he either crashes or he crashes before the white
Not that it matters, but Corey Lajoie has no DNFs this season, and he is the only driver who has run every race who has 0 dnfs.
He’s still overhyped by fans because he’s running lesser equipment.
Ironic that the week he was in the 9 his normal 7 car DNFd
Erik jones I would say deserves the spot more than anyone below the cut line. He’s in a complete garbage car yet is more often than not getting the car into the top 15. Pure skill in my opinion.
Erik Jones is one of my favorite drivers, but it’d be an absolute travesty to see Legacy waste a playoff spot this year. It’s an abandoned season
@Austin Artinger last 2-3 spots are usually a waste anyways. Better him than Dillon or an SHR car
Im hoping for a massive upset and gilliland gets the win
There are 32 full time drivers. 15 are locked in. So 17 guys fighting for 1 spot. It will be interesting.
The summary of every Aric Almirola plate race he finishes:
Lead laps
Get shuffled back to 21st late
Recover to 14th
That’s basically been the name of the game the last few years and it’s been painful to say the least
The chance of huge crashes are enormous. The pressure to win has never been higher I feel. Imagine what would be for Kauling get a driver into the playoffs, or Spire, Austin Dillon is basically living for this surprising moment’s, Elliott, Bowman and Suarez are gonna go like crazy for the win. Hope for a good race, but i think is gonna chaotic…
