Hooray no more road course for awhile.
Couldn’t happen to a better driver lol
Chase Elliott fan here: Chase Elliott is a great driver but he has been held back by Alan for a long time in my opinion, sure they won a championship but that was right at the end of the season. Alan has made so many inexcusable mistakes on pit road strategies and miscalculations, and this is my final straw with him. I want him out next season.
I don’t agree. HMS messed up at the beginning of the season with the illegal parts and then a broken leg from a ski trip didn’t help. It was a messy season for these reasons for Chase. Not really Alan’s fault at all.
@Happy Johnwhile I agree that Alan isn’t the entire reason he (most likely) won’t make the playoffs, but he’s done some pretty weird stuff with strategies wise and just, feels weird and I don’t like it.
He needs someone like Rudy or Daniels – Gustafson can’t do it anymore
that’s been the worst performance I’ve seen in a single race from the 9. honestly quite shocked, never thought it could happen to such a strong and great team

I like Chase, but he missed too many races to qualify imo. Can’t be legit missing 20% of the season.
Still waiting on 1 Elliot fan to get some sense and understand that this was one race the crew chief let him down…..he let the entire team and fan base down for 6 weeks because he decided to snowboard during the season. This kid needs to grow up and this was the best medicine. Time to take your position seriously chase. You have a one in a million opportunity on top tier equipment and you get voted the most popular driver- but that will only last for so long.
Gustafson has let Chase down many times since they’ve been together even going back to when Jeff had him

Alan Gustafson needs to be handed his Termination Notice after that nonsense yesterday not to mention he’s also to blame for not having Chase pit at Michigan which led to the right rear to go down
