Damn Blaney and Preece took some vicious hits. Hope their both ok. Respect to RFK though, they seem to be becoming a well oiled machine.
I am not watching the full race replay of this race because of the flip
I am not watching the full replay of the race because of the racing
This was, hands down, the best NASCAR superspeedway race we’ve had in a long, long time.
This year’s Xfinity Talladega race is up there
I agree
This past Atlanta race was really good
How can u tell in a 10 minute video.
Daytona always delivers.
I have never seen a flip like that ever. That was early 2000’s style flipping right there. I hope Preece is ok.
I have never seen a flip like that ever.
That’s exactly what I told my wife. Told her it reminded me of Rusty Wallace’s wreck he had year ago in the black & yellow Miller car.
Rusty Wallace, Elliot Sadler, Jeff Burton, Dale Jr, Ernie Irvin, Ricky Rudd…. The list of nasty rollovers is long…
He’ll be feeling concussion like symptoms from that, or worse. And I doubt he’ll be sidelined for next weekend at Darlington. 10X he rolled. Daytona may have to make the decision to remove the other half of the backstretch grass so something like that won’t happen again.
Google Michael McDowell at Texas
Thank heavens for SAFER barriers, but not good to see Rusty’s flips from the 90s coming back.
Greatest race I’ve watched live! I hope he’s okay. But fun finish love brad and his team
The way Preece came down on his roof… Nascar safety is incredible
Kurt: *BRUH*
Agreed, that last roof hit would of been the worst, the other flips had momentum, stuff was breaking and bending…. That last roof slam was a solid, solid hit.

Prayers for Ryan Preece. I hope he is okay. That was one of the worse wrecks in a long time. They left the broadcast with no word on his condition. I hope he is alright.
Well they didn’t get any word on him till post race
I was at the race he climbed out and seemed okay but last I heard they were taking him to a hospital
He just tweeted thank goodness
More failed NASCAR engineering.
That’s was a really hard hit for Blaney. And to think that was into a safer barrier and it still did that. That was the most flex I remember seeing one of those walls do. Didn’t look like he had time to even think about hitting that brake pedal.
It looked like a harder hit then Sr. had in ’01.
NBC always does a good gob! hope Ryan Preece is alright that was a huge flip!
Every nascar fan wants to see a badass wreck, just might not always admit it.
Blaney and Preece had two of the scariest hits I’ve EVER seen tonight. Blaney got out right away, but I was holding my breath the whole time it took Preece to climb out. I hope they’re both OK.
Something that wasn’t shown – mostly because nothing crazy happened as a result – was 3-wide, 8-deep, 190 mph driving, WITHOUT a major crash. Stage 1, and I remember it because Truex was right in the middle of it. As an MTJ fan, I was scared, watching that.
I’m almost in awe about how great Keselowski’s pushes were…
Young Brad would have wrecked the field trying to win a race his car wasn’t quite good enough to win. Old Brad just pushes the best car to Victory Lane.
Excellent race all around. Hope Blaney and Preece recover quickly
Man, that stage 2 finish was WILD!
My jaw dropped when Preece got in the air like that. Those flips were insane.
