Tbh we gotta give Eric credit, Im sure Bowman and Elliott would’ve made the playoffs if not for their injuries

One of them would’ve, but in order for that to have happened, one or both would’ve had to have been better than Kevin Harvick or Brad Keselowski, I can’t say confidently that would’ve happened
@Handsomedevil4if they both had 6 more races under their belt that they missed, it wouldn’t have even been remotely close in points…
@Jared Champagne Chase Elliott has only averaged about half a position better than Keselowski and Harvick, and Bowman has averaged around 2 positions worse, so Bowman probably wouldn’t be close to them if he had a full season and Chase Elliott would be about the same. Now if they both had 6 more races under their belt, Bowman would have three more races ran than everyone else in the field, so yeah, he’d probably have a lot of points.

@Trying to go pro not that crazy, but I’m still thinking they’re a year away. I’m gonna predict that he and Brad K both make the Round of 12, miss the cut for 8, but don’t perform badly in the playoffs, overall. Next year, they may be among the favorites coming in.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr, RFK teammates and Michael McDowell are my surprises to make the playoffs this year.
Truex and Byron have the same amount of playoff points. And with more wins, Byron is listed by nascar as the top seed due to tied in points but with more wins.
I think a lot of people are going to count the 17 out but I think he’s got momentum going for him and he’s going to go deep. He’s one of my dark horses that might make it to the final four, but I would also watch out for the six and four cars as well. They’re going to peek at the right moment.

After what happened to chase Elliot and Alex bowman this season really adds to Kyle Busch’s championship he won after breaking his legs and how special it was for him to win it
If he doesn’t screw something up, watch out for Bell. Despite all the mess ups since about June, Bell *still* finished 4th in the regular season. It feels like it was a lot worse than it really was.
It’s important to note that Byron would be the overall one seed this year if not for that 5 playoff point penalty
I remember when RFK didn’t make the main field for the clash at the coliseum, we all thought it was gonna be another year of disappointments. They have certainly proven us wrong.
