It’s crazy to think Kurt went from villain to one of the most beloved in NASCAR
People say Kyle is better than him but it’s way closer than it really is
Kurt is going to be missed by so many people
But I hope he has the best retirement 🙂

In my opinion both Kurt and Kyle Busch have matured over the years and as it’s sad to see Kurt retire over sad circumstances but we’ll see his younger brother kyle race for more wins and hopefully get his first 500 win before he hangs it up

He’s undoubtedly a First-Ballot Hall Of Famer. There’s a good reason why teams like Roush, Penske & SHR saw tons of success when he came in their doors. Happy Retirement, Kurt!

My favorite Kurt Busch moment is one of his first cup series moments.. 2001 Daytona 500 being the last person Dale Sr. flipped the bird to.
If Dale was alive today though, im sure Kurt would have earned his respect.

Although his stats are inconsistent throughout his career, he’s one of the most underrated drivers and champions in NASCAR history. His career was over in 2012 and SHR gave him a career resurgence.

FRR first gave him a career resurgence, then SHR. Without that 2013 season in the #78, his career was done I think.

@Alexis GasnierAnd at the same time, he made FRR the team they became in 2013. Hell Truex was bad in 2014 and had to rebound in 2015

Kurt is proof that if a person really wants to change it can be done. It’s unfortunate he wasn’t able to finish out his career the way he wanted but having him still involved in many different ways is great!

I was at Kansas for his last win. Wish I’d have known or I’d have been more hyped. Gonna miss seeing him on track every week. Just glad he did his last burnout right in front of my front row seats

Kurt is without a doubt a first ballot hall of famer. A driver that any team was lucky to have. When he went to CGR my first thought was “Why”? But he was a solid veteran addition to that team. All the teams he drove for, he made them better. Will miss him for sure.

My favorite Kurt Busch moment is the 2017 Daytona 500. And listening how pumped he was on the radio. Kurt is the ultimate redemption story and how a person can change. But truly I think underrated all time. Only a few drivers come to mind when I think competitive until the end. Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon, and Kurt Busch

Kurt and Dale Jr are both the same and different in a lot of ways. One loved by the fans, the other hated for a majority of his career. Both extremely talented drivers, but due to bad luck and other circumstances, never became the multi-time champions they could’ve easily been.

But for me, it’s the fact that they’ve done more for the sport outside of the car than they did inside the car. Kurt showed us that anyone can change for the better through humble determination.

Kurt Busch is NASCAR’S ultimate redemption story….. it is so sad that his career had to end the way that it did, but, he was my favorite driver FOR YEARS starting with the Stewart-Haas years…… I hope you enjoy your retirement, Kurt!

Kurt was always an enigma. But at the end of the day, he was one of the best to ever do it. He won’t be gone from the sport, he’ll be around, whether as an executive at a team, An announcer for whatever network we get in 2025, or simply as his Nephew Brexton’s Driver Coach alongside Kyle. It may be goodbye from the driver seat, but Kurt will still be involved with NASCAR for Years, if not Decades to come. Thank you for 22 years of Driving, and cheers to The next 22!

Kurt Busch made every team he drove for better. The Roush 97. The Front Row 78. Even the 51.
He raced for top teams like Penske and SHR and was putting up great numbers with them.
When he joined 23XI he was the perfect guy to compliment Bubba Wallace in the short time they had together.
I will always be a Stewart guy but I will always have a soft spot for the elder Busch boy. I hope he is able to help 23XI become a championship winning team.

Rage & Redemption: The Kurt Busch Story.

It’s sad to know he’s gone from the track. If anyone’s earned the right to rest easy, even if it’s before he’s truly ready, it’s him. Thanks for everything, Kurt!
