I want a company in Tallahassee Florida called trans Am worldwide to bring the Pontiac firebird into NASCAR because I want to see a Pontiac on the track again even if it’s not an actual Pontiac.

Kurt Busch should race again next year

As much as I want him to, he won’t. This injury seems to have really scared him. Not in the sense of severity of injury, just at what he has to lose in the life he’s built, and how easy it can be to lose so much. Coming from someone who had a decent head injury..it’s terrifying.

@Mercy could he race in short tracks or in xfinity every now and then, like Dale Jr?

“this is were I froze” my heart really aches for Kurt. Craven has had years to process his career. This had to be filmed so near Kurts final announcement regarding retirement. This one hurts. I hope Kurt remembers and sees the smile he had when congratulating Ricky. I’m glad we have this, it’s just bitter sweet.

You should see Hershel McGriff. I am NOT convinced he’s in his 90s.

This had my eyes watering. I remember the race like it was last a Sunday. Kurt I saw you race at Cota last year I was at daytona when you won the 500.

And to think… Kurt did all of that without power steering.

2003 was one of craven’s best seasons in the cup series but Kurt winning the NASCAR title one year ltr was a incredible accomplishment!

Reply

Kurt’s title was in 2004 and Craven’s win was in 2003, the champion of that season was Matt Kenseth

I remember seeing this on TV, watching it with my son, that was an amazing day! To see my favorite driver, a local guy to me, win the race on a photo finish. It was one of the best finishes that I have seen with two of the drivers giving their ALL and still be a clean race to the checkered. You boys did well that day!
