I remember in 2018, after winning this race with an intense battle between the two, Brad Keselowski said Larson would get his Southern 500 win one day. I glad it’s finally happened.

This could easily have been Kyle’s 5th win this season. Glad he got the win here. Top 3 drivers right now are Larson, Buescher(been hot), and Hamlin(probably would have won here if not for car trouble…and been hot). Hopefully Larson wins his 2nd Championship 😀
Watching this last night, I thought “this guy is checking off boxes on his career resume”
He mentiins winning this was huge for him because of its “crown jewel” status. He then goes on to mention needing a 500 (Daytona) and “hope we go back to the Indy oval next year so i can try for that one.”
