No dirt race, please.
I personally did not enjoy it at all.

Remember how schedule changes in the 2010’s were? Maybe one date swapping dates with another but that was it.

Not surprised that Burton may not be returning next year. I don’t think he was ready to move up from JGR’s Xfinity program. Regardless, it’s not fun to see either Burton or the Wood Brothers struggling. They both need changes, and it may be time to part ways to make things better.

As for who the Wood Brothers could pick to replace him… I have no idea at this point, but regardless, I hope it’s someone who can get them their 100th win, and more. (Zane Smith? Who knows…)

Probably Zane Smith since I’d assume that’s what Ford wants

The wood brothers really haven’t been good since Blaney was there and that was bc of their deal with Penske and having full backing bc Penske wanted Blaney.
I don’t think that Penske wants Burton at all so they probably aren’t getting the support that they were and I don’t think they’ve been getting that support since Blaney moved to the 12.

@Joshua Pittman Menard and DiBendetto found decent success (especially in 2020), but I think you’re right. They probably aren’t getting as much of the backing they need from Penske right now as they should. Hopefully, someone like Zane can turn that around.

@cadillacjohn1994 yeah, I don’t think Burton belongs in cup at the moment anyway (he has talent, but he was moved up way to quickly), but I definitely think if he was getting the backing that Blaney had from ford and Penske, he would be finishing higher than he has been recently

@Joshua PittmanRoger was going to put Harrison in the Xfinity series until Brad left and that changed everything and some people saying dex basically forced him to put Harrison in the 21 once Austin got the 2 car. Dex isn’t just Harrisons sponsor but a Penske partner

Burton needs more time in Xfinity. He needs to properly prove himself and get more experience before he continues in the big league. I don’t believe he’s a bust, I just think he needs some time.

The Brickyard 400 coming back is a start of a GREAT step towards schedule improvement. Next, we should focus on getting tracks like Wilkesboro, Montreal, Rockingham, Nashville Fairgrounds, IRP, Eldora, and Milwaukee onto the schedule in the future (in Wilkes case, full time).

And the LA Colosseum as a possible points race?

No god! No God please no! No! No! Nooooooooo!

The 2 drivers you’ve spoken about made it to where they are because of who they know in the business (fathers). Cincric and Burton both. Cindric may seem like a better bet but take into consideration that he’s had great equipment the entire time. Neither of them are showing they deserve to be in Cup.

They could also do a triple headerwith the Pinty series and IndyCar when they do the Toronto Street race

I really hope Harrison stays, he’s my favorite driver in NASCAR for how nice he is and how clean he drives. I wouldn’t mind him going back down to Xfinity, I just want to still be able to see him race

I wouldn’t be surprised if Burton doesn’t return to the 21 car next year. He should have more time in Xfinity.

Zane Smith in the 21 is a hype train I can get on board with. It would be even with, if not better, than an SHR or Kaulig car imo.

I hope tyler does solid this week like last week. I want him to win it all of course, but I think if he makes round of 8 this season it shows improvement

Spring Sonoma might end up being a rain delayed race

Put the all star race Saturday night before the coke 600. That would be one hell of a weekend and a lot of freakin laps in 24 hours. Would be insane

Nashville Fairgrounds, the brickyard 400, and no more roval is all i have to ask for. The Chicago street race was an absolute banger, and tbh… It’d be cool af races like Chicago… One a year wouldn’t be bad

I think Sonoma will be a good day to race in spring season. But since I live in the Bay Area in the spring it rains a lot!

It’s not happening in the spring

Double header at Richmond is a good idea. They likely get a larger turn out for both than they would if they kept it separate. However, I’d like to see Iowa get a date. A worn, multi groove short track that races a little more like an intermediate might be just what the doctor ordered.

I agree, I miss the iowa races

As someone who lives near Noth Wilkesboro, a points date would be HUGE… the all star weekend was amazing for the area and being there, the atmosphere was wild…

I have a thought, 1 race at each track, it allows for visiting more tracks and could boost ticket sales at each because you got one shot to see a race at each track per year.

Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like the Bristol night race should be a crown jewel . Been 5 times and never seen a bad one. Always fun .

A solution the Olympic break might be to move Michigan to the vacant Father’s day weekend (where they had historically held the first MIS race of the season). I’d love to see Michigan get its second date back, to replace Auto Club, but I’m not holding my breath.
