Definitely positive for JGR to keep both Denny and Martin, and very positive for Toyota also to be able to hold onto 23XI

Well, on the bright side for JGR, they don’t have to suffer another major loss of star power for a second consecutive year.

I am glad he isn’t bringing 23XI to Ford

It was very close. Toyato almost fcked it up. Behind the scenes, they did themselves no favors

Rumours will stay rumours. Sure Denny really wanna stay in JGR.

This isn’t surprising but it would’ve been interesting to see Hamlin and 23XI to Ford. I’d wish they’d at least tell us how many years the deal is for, not just multi-year agreement.

Not surprised this happened but I’m surprised it took as long as it did

Imagine Denny drives for his own team
Just like Tony Stewart did

All that I can say is finally. JGR at least did not fumble the bag like last year with KB. I believe the difference between KB and Denny in terms of JGR was their loyalty to the team. Denny came to JGR mainly because of the late JD Gibbs. All I can say is, JD Gibbs will be smiling up above and relieved that Denny will be staying. Glad to see the deal finally be announced.

Not too surprising that he stayed, as he’s a Gibbs loyalist. However, regardless of how long he stays, based on his past performance, no matter how many changes he makes, he’ll still never win a championship. That’s just not in his reach.

I also wonder how long FedEx will stay. Have they even signed on for next year? I haven’t heard a single word on that subject.

Think we all saw it coming but depending how long the contract is, next time IF he isn’t retiring it should be interesting..

I hope this mean 23XI will get more direct manufacturing support from Toyota as well cause we’re definitely developing as a team

I have a feeling this is a 2 year deal with an option for a third year.

Glad to hear this. Didn’t know where my loyalty would go if Denny and 23XI weren’t with Toyota.

There’s a timeline where JGR not only lost Kyle, but Truex retires and Hamlin doesn’t sign. Can’t believe we were so close to having that happen, I sure wouldn’t know what to do if I were JGR and losing the top 3 guys in essentially a year. But glad to know we’ll never have to see what that world would have looked like for JGR.

Thought it was possible bc they lost KB. I knew they wanted to keep Hamlin more because of 23XI. KBM trucks didn’t have the same weight. The bigger issue is that loss of Coy Gibbs. Replacing that job has slowed down things but they’ll get everything together.

Makes you wonder if denny was getting frustrated and used the Ford talks as an intimidating tactic

I’m glad for everyone involved. Denny is one of the few drivers left (if not the only one) who has been around for multiple seasons with the same team, he’s been consistently good with JGR over the years, 23XI is in a good place right now, this is the best outcome for everyone, and I see things staying good, if not getting better over time.
