I remember that. It’s a common-ish problem in Kansas and Missouri. I’ve seen it happen multiple times.

I know that I m going to get some ( a lot ) of heck but can you please give me a idea of what they are doing with the track
Just don’t know what they’re doing
They say if you don’t know something then you should just ask

So there was heavy rains the whole weekend, and all that water created a bump on the race track that was chewing up the splitters on the cars. So they threw a caution and started cutting into the asphalt to relieve the pressure and let all that water out.
