I know that I m going to get some ( a lot ) of heck but can you please give me a idea of what they are doing with the track
Just don’t know what they’re doing
They say if you don’t know something then you should just ask
So I’m just going to ask
Looks like something that I haven’t seen before
So there was heavy rains the whole weekend, and all that water created a bump on the race track that was chewing up the splitters on the cars. So they threw a caution and started cutting into the asphalt to relieve the pressure and let all that water out.

Wow
I remember that
NASCAR engineering at its finest
Even Ovals need their stress to be relieved
I remember that. It’s a common-ish problem in Kansas and Missouri. I’ve seen it happen multiple times.
I remember that race . Who else remembers when a chunk of the track came up and destroyed Jeff Gordon’s car ?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
That was Atlanta.
