As of recording this video driver Noah Gragson is suspended from NASCAR for liking an offensive meme on Instagram. No matter what we think of what happened the big question now for Noah Gragson is about his future in the sport and where he could pop up next, whether that be the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, or even the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. So with that today we ask what does the future hold for Noah Gragson?

I’m going to make a hot take and say that JRM goes to cup before 2030 with Noah Gragson.

Goes BACK, To The NASCAR Cup Series, BACK To Legacy Motor Club, For A 2nd Chance, But…

With The #40, For Legacy Motor Club, As A 3 Car Team.

Tbh he has proven himself already in Xfinity. Getting sent back to Xfinity for liking a fucking meme is stupid. I hope some Cup team scoops him up

Reply
Cole Murray September 8, 2023 at 6:59 am

@Drum n’ Bass Sakuga I agree. He shouldn’t be knocked back down to the lower series over a stupid picture with text.

Austin Emms September 7, 2023 at 11:37 pm

It’s still strange to me how he struggled this year. He had many years in Xfinity to get ready for Cup, he had a good crew chief and was as talented as they come.

Big Hand September 7, 2023 at 11:48 pm

I expected more out of Noah Gragson

Reply
Big Smoke September 7, 2023 at 11:52 pm

@Big HandI did not, he’s a good driver, but also takes a little bit to develop

Reply
Douglas young September 7, 2023 at 11:59 pm

@Big Hand
It takes more than being a good driver in cup though.
Takes a good car
Crew
Chemistry with chief, spotters, owner
Money
Getting used to cup cars
Etc etc

SouperGoose62 September 8, 2023 at 12:08 am

The LMC cars are ultra slow this year and the pit crew made mistakes too

Reply
DoomusRLC September 8, 2023 at 12:17 am

@Big Smoke exactly this. It took him a few years in Xfinity to really get his footing.

What I’m also not liking is the way they’re throwing hate at JH Nemechek, I mean, what’s his fault in this situation? He’s having an excellent year in the Xfinity Series, so a Cup Series berth is well deserved. People need to know how to separate things.

Reply
Douglas young September 7, 2023 at 11:54 pm

I personally don’t care for Nemechek, personality wise.
That said, i dont throw hate towards him, and not sure who is.
But the kid clearly has talent, even haters should see that.
He’ll be in a cup ride sooner or later

We’ll see how he does for his Second attempt in cup .

Really the fault is on Toyota and LMC for how they handled the Noah Gragson situation

@Douglas youngI’m with you. I don’t care for him either. But I don’t hate him

Not to mention that liking a somewhat unsavory George Floyd meme on Instagram is not the same as saying the n-word in the middle of an iRacing event.

If Gragson was performing better, this would have been overlooked.

Reply
HutRod September 8, 2023 at 12:31 am

Winning goes a long way towards forgiveness and Noah doesn’t have the talent Larson does. Noah will be lucky to land a mid pack ride not in cup.

Stop comparing a great driver (Larson) to a horrible driver (Gragson)

I have to disagree with your take that he shouldn’t have been suspended for liking the post he did- that would be a major black eye on the face of NASCAR as a whole if no action was taken there. Other than that, though, I largely agree with you and hope he can come back.

Reply
Cole Murray September 8, 2023 at 7:04 am

Well, I firmly believe that he shouldn’t have been suspended. I’ll bring up this again, Dirty Denny made a meme that basically mocked Asians but guess what, he wasn’t suspended for that instead he got fined and a day at sensitivity training so tell me how Noah’s suspension is “fair”?

poor ned September 8, 2023 at 10:03 am

Ohh really? Then why was Bubbas fake hate crime over looked? Bubba brought the sport into disrepute and everyone applauded him for it.

Reply
Milton Valenzuela, Jr September 8, 2023 at 12:52 am

I could see Gragson going to JRM, although that’ll depend on sponsorship and how many go with Josh Berry to SHR

How about Gragson to Big Machine Racing in Xfinity, teaming up with Parker Kligerman

Reply
Jefferson Gomes September 8, 2023 at 2:20 am

I like Noah, he’s a nice guy. Hope he gets a nice ride that can give him some good results in cup or a championship contention in xfinity or trucks

Reply
KJ Productions September 8, 2023 at 2:02 pm

I agree. He’s been one of my favorite Nascar racers since last year. He was growing on me in 2021. After Talladega last April, he was my 3rd favorite driver in the Xfinity Series. It’s a shame he didn’t win the championship. But he had a great season. When he got to the Cup Series, he became my 5th favorite driver in that series.

Curtis Blevins September 8, 2023 at 2:57 am

Well, when it comes to Noah Gragson and where I believe he could end up next season after he gets reinstated, I still strongly say that his best options would be to return to the Xfinity Series or possibly the truck series next season and if he does return to the Xfinity Series, the best options I can think of for Noah are either going over to RCR with them expanding to a 3-car team or going to Kaulig Racing because I think it’s a long shot on him returning to JR Motorsports next year and if Noah decides to return to the truck series, I think the #7 truck at Spire Motorsports would be good for him after I’ve heard how they could possibly be going full-time in that series next season. However, he could be a candidate for the #31 car at Kaulig Racing in the Cup Series next year. All-in-all, in the end, that’s all I’ve got to say, so goodbye!

I would love to see Noah back. Yes it was dumb but it’s also total BS that he lost his job over this.

Reply
John Haas September 8, 2023 at 11:20 am

He wasn’t going to have a job with legacy for next year even before the Meme. He got suspended by NASCAR for the rest of the year So what what’s the point of even staying with lmc for the rest of the year when can’t drive the car

hutchj61 September 8, 2023 at 3:52 am

Noah should get another chance. I’ve thought about him returning to JRM but wonder whether Jr would offer the ride. I get the feeling he won’t as sort of a tough love response. He may think Noah needs to get back in without the safety net of something familiar. I hope that’s not the case. Noah really needs a boost and JRM would provide that. Plus JRM knows what Noah would provide as a driver.

Reply
Cole Murray September 8, 2023 at 6:57 am

From what I heard, Junior is most likely going to put his nephew, Jeffrey in the #8 so that means Noah is gonna have to look somewhere else. In my opinion, I think Noah should be in the #8 cuz you, me, and everyone else knows that he’ll perform well than Jeffrey.

If we compare Grayson to Larson, KL made himself look really good by going to dirt and winning everywhere in any car. Keep in mind, with a few races with Valvoline, KL is sponsored by Rick Hendrick. Additionally,
he is a cup champion and the corporate world still isn’t putting their name on the 5. I don’t see NG in the same category as KL. Since everything is racist in today’s world of cancel culture, I’d be surprised if he ever got a big name as a sponsor. At least KL went the extra mile to make amends with minority communities. I’ve not heard if NG is following the KL blueprint for redemption.

John Haas September 8, 2023 at 11:13 am

No Hendrick automotive group pays for the sponsorship not Rick Hendrick out of pocket and Rick Hendrick didn’t make the decision to put Hendrick cars as the primary sponsor

If he races next year in trucks I believe it’ll be the #25 Rackley WAR if it’s xfinity I don’t think it’ll be JRM as much as I want him to be and I don’t think it’ll be kaulig either I think it’ll be like a Jordan Anderson racing 3rd car or maybe a RSS Racing or an alpha prime car cuz he’s gonna have to rebuild trust a likely team or I should say a possible chance might be SHR xfinity car I think custer will be the 2nd rick ware and if they don’t close it the #00 gene haas has brought in a driver that was rebuilding their career before in kurt busch and sponsored him throughout the season there’s some similarities between busch and gragson

Newmanfan4ever39 September 8, 2023 at 6:57 am

i think going back to JRM would be his best bet either way i want him back also thank you that you said LMC was trying to get rid of him before the suspension ive told people that they called me dickrider or a tin foil hat fan i hope he comes back and shuts up the haters

Reply
John Haas September 8, 2023 at 11:11 am

He’s not going back to Junior Motorsports

Reply
sdbaker3 September 8, 2023 at 4:23 pm

Not sure he’ll go back to JRM, but there is an open seat. Kaulig might be where he lands, either Xfinity or Cup (maybe down the road for the latter, when AJ hangs it up in Cup). Either way, I miss the old Gragson; not the ‘polished’ version Legacy seems to have wanted him to become.

S.KullRandom September 8, 2023 at 8:24 am

The Larson route is only if Hendrick takes a shot at him, which is very unlikely, the Wallace route is when a team is made specifically for him, also very unlikely. And both drivers can win or at the very least keep pace with the leader, provided their egos don’t get in the way or the crew screw them over, which Gragson does not have. He got punched by Chastain, which does not help matters either. He’ll be lucky if he gets a ride with a mid team in Trucks, much less Xfinity

Reply
Timmy Pilkerton September 8, 2023 at 10:02 am

I hope he is doing the sensitivity training and all the stuff he has to do when a young driver makes a mistake in these times because he is a hell of a driver I’d like to have him in the ford camp. It I def think he needs another shot and the mistake he made he learned from it. I don’t think it should define his career.

I think a full time Kaulig Xfinity ride/ part time cup ride would be great for him next year!

Reply
John Haas September 8, 2023 at 1:47 pm

That’s not going to happen

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Gragson in the 25 truck next year

Reply
Tracy Avery September 8, 2023 at 2:12 pm

I think Noah goes to Xfinity and rebuilds. For some reason I get the feeling it will be Kaulig. As a fan I can’t wait to see him in a car or truck. he has the talent to come back strong and his fans are here for it. Let’s go!

Carl Crisp September 8, 2023 at 5:05 pm

I remember thinking that leaving an A xfinity car for a B cup car wasn’t a great idea and it only got worse when it became Legacy. This whole thing puts a bad taste in my mouth about that team. I wish you didn’t have to take any Cup ride presented. I wish Noah the best
