Can someone explain to me why McDowell with only 10-15 laps on his tires pitted. He could of been up front by staying out. So confused

So proud of my buddy, Reddick. I thought the same thing that happened last year was gonna happen. But, boy was I wrong. He had a wicked fast car and a hell of a crew chief. Billy Scott called all the right shots!
