It wasnt kyle larsons fault to begin with chase he got no where to go and this coming from a chase elliott fan too

Chase never saw Brad and automatically thought it was Larson’s fault. Still though there was no reason to door him after what looked like a minor incident. He could’ve also just been honest to the media even if he didn’t want to talk about it. Not a fan of the way he’s been acting lately, and this is coming from a big fan of his.

I know. This season has been rough on the entire 9 team and its fan base. Chase isn’t quick, the crews making mistakes, and then there’s little petty stuff like this. Cmon dude, relax a little bit

It’s incredible that he lies once again in his interview.

This is basically Chase knowing he was in the wrong but instead of owning up he pretends nothing happened.

Chase was in the wrong here, but he should have been honest here rather then yeah not owning up to it (im sure he knows he looks bad after the fact). Just cause Kyle didn’t deserve to be doored here, doesn’t mean he’s run out of freeway with Chase at least for the time being. If it’s any other driver, they probably don’t get doored.

@JuniorJewels754larson fan here… i actually agree with you. I dont think its “settled” between these two. Idk if its a “big-man at the stall” type complex or what, but i feel like Chase really doesnt like Kyle, and vice versa. We will see

Elliott Dan here:I’ve watched the replay a few times. I think it may of been heat of the moment, I reckon they both watched the replay and Elliott is likely doing a “oops, my bad”

Elliot was likely watching Larson and didn’t see Brad leave his pit stall.

Nothing is going to happen

Chase took the “You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain” quote seriously. The dude has seriously started his villain arc this year and is quickly becoming one of my least favorite drivers on the track.

Spotters always try to turn nothing into something, I wouldn’t be surprised if that plays a part

Reply
Saboo 45 September 12, 2023 at 12:49 pm

There’s no way they did not… It makes absolutely no sense there’s like dozens of spotters

I feel like they told him, and he didn’t listen, and bumped Larson anyway

Feel bad for Chase fans because he has been acting the fool for a couple years and it’s only gettin worse

Reply
racefan72 September 12, 2023 at 12:12 pm

Honestly, he was my first favorite for years, and he’s still like second or third, but he’s definitely fallen down the list because of the lashing out

Reply
Riley Carlson September 12, 2023 at 4:42 pm

That Championship might be getting to him now

Reply
Thomas Dawson September 12, 2023 at 12:13 am

Chases spotter should have had him farther right. Chase needs to be more mature than to hit a teammate that fighting for a championship

Nomad Man September 12, 2023 at 12:21 am

I agree with Larry. He was used to being the Hendrick golden boy, the #1 driver, the future of the team but all that changed the moment they signed Larson. If I was in Chase’s position, I’d be trying to learn everything I could from Kyle and trying to figure out what he does differently and what makes him one of the best racing talents this side of the 2000s.
I also wonder if he’s got some personal things going on that we don’t know about because he’s been particularly emotional this season.

Kharn The Betrayer September 12, 2023 at 2:37 am

Larson is a better driver…….. Chase is good but not a Larson.

Reply
Ol Dirty Bandit September 12, 2023 at 4:13 am

Larson just has “it”. No matter what he gets behind the wheel in he has a shot because of instincts that some drivers have and some don’t. This coming from a guy who isn’t the biggest Larson fan but not a hater by any means.

Kyle Raymer September 12, 2023 at 12:52 pm

The problem is this. Elliott has the best average finish of not only the Hendrick drivers, but all of Nascar in the next Gen car. He should be their number 1 driver, but yet they give him one of the worst crews take their 3rd best (and worst at one point this season) and give everything. I got it in 2021 because of the sponsorship issue, but that’s been addressed supposedly.

McMurray cracks me up. Wouldn’t suprise me if he and many of the drivers and crew chiefs of his time get a kick out of all the such obvious lies that they tell us over the years.
Kenseth “couldn’t get the car to turn” is the first that comes to mind lol

Have to be careful when you’re having a tuff season not to make it worse, just ride it out Chase.

I think chase just didn’t know he was trying to avoid brad. And didn’t care after he understood what happened

Reply
Manuel Zamora September 12, 2023 at 3:01 am

Chase is frustrated. He caught a lucky break in 2020, and it’s been downhill since. Larson came and took everything, even the road courses.

Reply
J September 12, 2023 at 1:31 pm

Byron overtook him too. On top of that, Elliott was born into racing from his Dad while Byron and Larson decided to race on their own. Larsons Dad was a fan but not a driver. Willy B had to convince his parents to support him. What that guy has done with that opportunity is impressive.

Jamie said it perfectly. It’s hard to be a teammate to someone who is always faster than you and winning all the time.

Reply
Ol Dirty Bandit September 12, 2023 at 4:11 am

Why has nobody mentioned the car width between the 9 and 45 that Elliot had to move over? Why should the 5 and 6 (two playoff drivers) have their days ended because Elliot can do no wrong?

Reply
Dakota Flora September 12, 2023 at 4:32 am

I think Chase Elliott has a massive chip on his shoulder. Fan favorite driver several years running and here comes his new teammate taking away his glory. Let’s not forget Kyle Bush’s championship season coming back from a leg injury add that to Kyle Larson having had to sit out a season and came back the next year and dominated. I bet Chase was hoping he could have had a comeback season like either of theirs. Deflate his ego a bit and I bet he starts winning more races.
