Is Nascar trying to help Truex advance to the next round? Idk but the way they threw that yellow was oddly quick. Like as soon as he was out of control they threw it really quick.
I guess they were anticipating him to wreck like Corey and cause another bottleneck wreck

How is that even a caution that happens all the time and nascar does nothing
To those who said that was a dumb caution, it was not. Truex was extremely lucky to save it. If Truex did not save it, he would have spun, hit the wall, and came back up into traffic. I think they were justified to throw a caution for that. It was a very tricky decision. I rather them throw cautions too soon, not too late anyway. As my parents once said, quit your whining!

Nah, this happens a few times a year where someone starts sliding, NASCAR thinks it will be big and they throw the yellow instantly but then they save it.
That was such a rigged caution to bail out Truex incase he blew a tire
That honestly could’ve been a lot worse than what it was
Nascar didn’t want all the controversy with truex missing the next roud after just coming in winning the regular season championship, they threw that Caution so fast. If they didn’t throw the caution he most likely would have to pit and go a few laps down after locking up the front tires in that slide
The playoffs is so screwed. A guy goes from winning the regular season championship then to barely barely making it to the next round to then be tied for 1st in points
That was one hell of a save seeing how sideways he was. That scared me seeing that live as it happened. NASCAR obviously threw the yellow so fast cause they were confident seeing him that sideways off the corner that he was gonna be a LaJoie crash all over again. But he’s advanced and I never had doubt about it knowing how good of a driver he is. Hell yeah!!!
That’s a joke, a caution for someone getting sideways.
Regardless of whether they should or shouldn’t have thrown the caution, I was more annoyed because we were just coming up on the only green flag pit stop of the night.
