You are the only youtuber that gets me exited when hu uploads. I am not that much of a car guy anymore, but I can’t but watching your vids.
Ily bro, you came a long way, your dad would be proud
Nah, he has some videos that he mails it in on. Also his old car give away was so bad a disappointing he stoped addressing the issues. He has disappointed on various occasions.
4k views in 4 minutes James it’s incredible seeing how far you’ve gone I’ve enjoyed your content for years and years and I still continue to enjoy it seeing you mod your cars the way you want and just having these cars no one else has it’s inspiring
Man that lotus is incredible, love the design and how simple the interior is. Definitely will have to do some exhaust upgrades cause the stock version isn’t cutting it. Other than that it’s a really nice car and can’t wait to see them in person.
Hey James sound Engineer here: I would recommend looking into having acoustic panels installed on the walls and cloud sound dampening acoustic panels that would hang from the ceiling. That would fix the echo issues.
My father is a salesperson for acoustical commercial grade material and I can guarantee you he can fix all of your sound issues in your garage for an amazing price! Huge fan Strad!!
James, I’m currently watching the Lotus segment and I can see you’re devastated hearing it’s the last gas powered production car by them. I think most of the car scene is with you against the downfall of combustion and rise of electric. The thing is we need people like YOU with big followings to help car manufacturers and big wig law makers in realizing that this isn’t what we want! You speak for us all, and little by little I believe we can slow the process and enjoy the combustion engine slightly longer!
I work for an Audio, Video, and Lighting integration company and what we would do is take and 3D model your garage and take some measurements of how reverberant your room is then put it into some software to determine how much/what kind of acoustic material you would need and help with figuring out where to place it so it is the most affective and you can get it done right the first time.
Love watching your channel and seeing all the fun cars you have and love watching you enjoy life! Hope the best for you and keep being you!
I think you need to do either a white on white or a grey on blue for the lotus. You were talking about how it is a daily driver, so I think an abnoxious color would be a little less practical. I think you should match the countach or the nissan z. The countach is an iconic car and it would be very honorary to make the last ever combustion lotus match. On the other hand, you could match your daily drivers and make the lotus grey and blue.
Ive said this multiple time’s, but we definitely made the right guy famous and successful. You deserve everything James and are an inspiration. Literally pure, humble, ambitious, everything. Keep it up!
Putting foam / fabric sound deadening panels may mess with aesthetic if its on top of the paint. Another option would be to hang some long light fixtures or wood beams to interrupt the sound from above, which will help a bit and possibly look good. You can also add wood panel acoustic board which would also look pretty good.

Better to do acoustic spray plaster on ceiling. Looks much cleaner, works perfect
