What do you think of the big moves Spire has been making???
it’s certainly a shock, Spire’s really investing in their future
Eric Estepp predicted the future on his video yesterday
at this rate, spire is gonna buy and run all of nascar’s series
WTF? I didn’t see that coming
I never thought I’d see KBM fold and sell the team. I expected them to stay around. Spire being the #1 Chevy truck team now will be interesting.
This is shocking. Spire truly believes that the time is now to build for their future. As for Kyle Busch, perhaps this could allow him to focus more on racing and a focused Kyle Busch is the most dangerous man in NASCAR.
Shoutout to SPIRE. Making big moves.
Didn’t see this coming at all
I’m going to call it now:
With the moves they’ve been making, Spire is setting themselves up for the future
Spire will be a championship organization within the next decade. With who? I dunno. But it will happen because this is huge for them + the Andretti rumours
And I think that KFB’s retirement plan is still going to happen. Just with Spire, and not KBM
This was a complete shock when I first heard about it. I just hope that Spire doesn’t take this move for granted and can carry on the KBM legacy.
Spire Motorsports has been on a roll lately with deals
I’ve been saying Spire has to have plans for LaJoie to opt into that long term contract. Spire and RWR are looking like they’ll be major threats here in just 2 or 3 seasons if their drivers don’t fall short
EDIT: There is a chance both teams end up as feeder teams for Hendrick and RFK respectively seeing as both teams look like they wanna opt into a majority of younger drivers
Just my opinion, i think he sold his team too soon. But I’m all for his decision. Family first.
The Current State of the Trucks Series is a bloodbath and a shadow of its former self, so I wish Spire the best of luck for trying to avoid the bad side of Trucks.
As for Kyle Busch, at least he does not have to worry about his Trucks being demolished by how bad the Trucks Series is and not have to worry about hiring mid or bad drivers as a Truck owner.
$25 mil for everything!?! I thought it would be in the 75+. Heck, they just pay $40 mil for a single charter. That didnt include vehicles, shop, tools, etc. I hope he gets to keep his old race cars lol
I understand and respect why he made the decision to sell the company and focus attention and energy, but my own selfishness hates it. He built a hell of a truck program and I hate to see it go. But I do understand.
Spire Motorsports is cooking something big
Is Kyle Busch going to get rid of the things in his shop??
Does Spire just have endless buckets of cash?
