i think he has a deal with RCR and there was a video of jeff gordon coming over to kyle and brexton to talk about signing with HMS

WOW ! Exactly what I was thinking

Will be fine if he has the talent. Just be like Chase and sign with the best team.

Could Kyle end up with a minority stake of RCR? Austin Dillon and Kyle Busch owning RCR..

I’m so sad as a kfb fan. I’m curious how this is going to effect his retirement plan. We know he wanted to share a truck with his son before retiring. Maybe he’ll have a spot on the team in a couple of years but for now I’m curious.

With the money Spire have been throwing around it ain’t out of the realm of possibility that in 5 or 6 years when Brexton is closer to 16 be able to buy a front of the pack ride or start a new single truck team for them to run as a proper family team

Cole Grigsby September 28, 2023 at 4:59 pm

Considering how much money Kyle Busch got probably paid for the truck team he could probably just start another truck series and turn it into a success.

Eric you have to remember: Hemric & Gragson shared the 16 last year in Cup. Them being teammates isn’t so far fetched. Keep an eye on that.

That’s a fair point. They’re both adults. I’m sure they could exist on the same team.

It’s just crazy that two years ago we thought the high point of Spire was them getting that fluke win at Daytona. Now they are in the news every week making good on the promise they made that they would be a name to remember one day.

Wait, Gragson made a Pinty’s start? Man, the Pinty’s Series needs to advertise itself more in Canada. If he does end up in the Pinty’s Series, next year, I’d have 1 more reason to hunt down ways to watch NASCAR’s Canadian Series.

Interesting news, as a fan for over 30 years, it’s been interesting to see all that has come and gone. Good luck to Kyle and family, and keep up the button dows, looks way better.

I hope that Noah Gragson finds a spot in Cup. The KBM deal is a good outcome. Kyle Busch has mentored so many. He can put all that effort and his myriad of connections into growing the Brexton Busch brand. All round good moves.

I’m loving this opportunity for Rajah. Seeing as he doesn’t have a truck ride for next year (as far as I know), this is gonna be a really good chance to show off his talent. He’s a hell of a driver and I’m a fan of him off the track as well (I’ve actually done iRacing with him a few times!), so I’m hoping for the best for him and his future.

Cool to see what Hendricks is doing in the xfinity car in these next few races. Giving a young kid a shot and a older driver one last opportunity is something good for the sport

Through thick and thin, I have always been a KB fan. So like many after following his NASCAR career since he was a kid and then following Brex’s racing career just as it ‘s just getting rolling, I too found this news completely coming from left field. Wow is an understatement. I too have listened to or seen many interviews having to do with Kyles future with both himself and Brex.

Makes me really wonder though. Is there more going on behind the scenes privately that haven’t come to light as of yet? After reading Kyles statement, something just seems off. You don’t normally sell off your baby or business that you have sacrificed countless hours and spent millions of your personal money to build up like that and then sell it all off on a whim.

Heaven forbid, but are there potential unknown to the public family health problems at play? Or are there again unknown to the public legal woes going on? I hope not. But to go from openly discussing the future one moment to selling off that same future in the next moment just doesn’t feel right to me.

Only time will tell.

Kyle has made a few comments this year along the lines of losing money with the truck team, like Brad K when he shut his down. I kind of wondered if a sale was coming, he didn’t seem happy with it anymore with a couple comments.

This almost feels like the epitome of “everything is for sale for the right price”

I don’t think Noah and Hemeric’s run ins in the past would affect Kaulig from signing Noah. Noah and Hemeric shared a cup ride when Kaulig had their “trophy hunting” 16 ride. The key , like many other drivers, would be sponsorship. In xfinity losing Voyager last year and Poppy Bank this year is massive for the program. (Yes Poppy Bank will stay with the team and Hemeric but they won’t stick around xfinity)

If Spire now has a truck series team, it can be possible that SVG runs one of those trucks full time

spire has been running on and off the past couple of years in trucks

One thing is for sure. It seems with all this moving and shaking going on, manufacturers are making sure they have pipelines set up for the future and making sure they align with people who share the desire to compete.

Richard Childress did offer Brexton, a well “kind of” contract. Maybe Childress promised to have a truck ride for Kyle and Braxton when the time comes

I’m thinking the same thing. There’s gonna be 2 RCR Trucks in 8-9 years

Very fitting that JJ and Chad are inducted the same year, because I don’t think one has success without the other. It was a match made in NASCAR heaven.

@Max Ramosthis was the first year JJ was eligible, he only retired (full time) in 2020 so 2023 was the first year he was in the ballot

I have a feeling Andretti will have ownership with Spire in the near future. Getting Andretti into the cup series and be a truly global brand in the Motorsport world.

Eric, I met you last year at fall Talladega. (thank you again for the free tickets) As a Kyle Busch fan, I’m not sure how to take this. I think at this point we are all in on Brexton Busch. He is one of the top eight year old drivers in the USA. Kyle is fully committed to a son’s career.
