Harvick got screwed cause NASCAR has a vendetta against SHR and that’s why it wasn’t just a point penalty and he got DQd

He got DQ’d because they found it at the track same as Hamlin and Busch last year.

Thanks guys. Good plantation. Someone said it didn’t make a difference. He obviously hasn’t seen your video

This video is great! Hopefully we get more for every controversial penalty that catches the cultural zeitgeist.

I was a Harvick fan. Will never ever watch Nascar ever again. Watched Harvick when his first win in California after Earnhardt’s death.

If that was Hendricks team they would not have penalized him

I absolutely love the transparency and the explanation. This sport is so much more technical than tv explains.

Damn, if his bolts would have been secured he would have finished last anyway because of all that drag. Lol

If teams are having issues with those screws/bolts staying tight then NASCAR needs to amend their rules to add nuts or lock nuts to the plates in which those bolts are threaded into, simple fix, minimal cost end of problem.

Simple loctite would’ve kept those boots tight. Childers said they siliconed them, but silicone isn’t a thread locker. Blue or Red loctite would prevent the me bolts from backing out

Reply
The Moo October 4, 2023 at 12:11 am

Wouldn’t that cause drag?

I was skeptical about this penalty until I saw this video. I’m still a bit skeptical as to how drastic of an advantage (if any) this gives, and I (and I’m sure a lot of other fans) would really love to see these concepts proved in a wind tunnel
