I hope it has everything a good nascar game needs. Good physics, a career mode, multiplayer, and challenges.

This is the best news console nascar players have had in forever . It’s been so long since we got a new game

Especially Nintendo fans. They haven’t gotten a GOOD NASCAR GAME IN 20 YEARS

Honestly I got tired of waiting . I went down the I racing rabbit hole . I love it but would also love to have a decent console nascar game

The bar is high, the hope is alive. If iRacing can’t make a good product then no one will. Not looking for anything made from the past or present. Want to see their own take and run with it.

And release it on Nintendo to finally end the 20 year drought

Hopefully this means the IndyCar license goes back to iRacing too. MSG was a disaster and they should’ve went with iRacing to begin with.

Congratulations, NASCAR Land!

As for IndyCar Land, pain…. Mark Miles is still with MSG…

Thank God. NASCAR so desperately needs a new console video game that actually works…I first got into NASCAR bc I played NASCAR ’99 on the original PlayStation…I played it religiously. If iRacing drops a good game, NASCAR will win potentially lifelong fans.

If it releases on Nintendo as the press release says (not the website blurb or the X post), it will be a guaranteed best-seller

The only thing I disagree with is not expecting basic features. MSG dropped the ball so hard, but not expecting a track map or mirror in literally any console NASCAR game is insane to me. These are features that have been around since the PS1 era and not having things that surface level on launch should be wholly inexcusable. That’s like expecting a shooter without a reload button. I think iracing will do right by the community, but that doesn’t mean we need to settle for mediocrity, keep our expectations up and don’t allow ANY development studio to think they can skimp effort on extremely basic requirements.

I trust iracing more then any current gaming company. With that said, I’m still not going to come to any conclusions until the game comes out. I don’t want to sound pessimistic but for all we know they could completely drop the ball. But at the very least Motorsports games is gone.

Here’s to hoping for the best from Iracing!!!!

Also, I called it!!! Iracing takes over

I expect it to have at least three gens of CUP car available for starters, preferably gen 4 too

With IRacing making the World of Outlaws game last year and it being really fun in my opinion I have a lot of faith in them to make a great NASCAR game

And they also ported it to the Switch, so the bar is high on this one

While I don’t expect this to be NASCAR Racing 2025 Season, I am excited for a NASCAR game from a group that actually knows how to make a halfway-realistic driving experience (which, with no disrespect to the people from Tiburon, Eutechnyx, and Monster Games that worked on their respective projects, is something we haven’t really seen much of since 2003).

Also it’s intriguing that, alongside console and PC, they own the mobile rights. Granted, that doesn’t necessarily mean that iRacing _are_ making a NASCAR mobile game, but I’m still curious what one from them would look like.

I would say I am cautiously optimistic about this. I never been on IRacing. But I do love what I see what it’s doing for the gaming community. I look forward to seeing what they do on console.

One thing I really want to see is, if they can do career mode similar to Thunder 04 and let you create your own team and hire your crew, but let you expand the team up to 4 cars. No NASCAR game has done that except for letting you buy a preexisting team. I also think you should be allowed to do that, but if you’re entering your own car into that team as well, they should give us font options that match up with the team I’m buying into. For example, if I buy RFK and create a third car to run on that team, let me have the option to have a similar number font to the other 2 cars instead of it just looking completely generic.

I’m excited but I want a fun career mode and starting out in some cool equipment. Iracing worked with monster games on world of outlaws, and it was fun, but I want more than that.

It’s honestly great that NASCAR finally has an experienced game developer at the helm. One who they trust and consistently work with in Esports. NASCAR will be able to keep a strict eye on IRacing

I want caution replays, and an ability to limit the amount of tires (you could turn that on or off)… and I think they could make different Era cars and tracks as dlc… people would buy them

Fantasy tracks, custom schedule, a paint booth with ALL sponsors, TV presentation for every race like the EA games, and every nascar series. Is all i ask.

I knew it was gonna be Iracing. The WoO game is so much fun. I have faith that Iracing will do a good job.

Honestly, one takeaway from this announcement is to be careful with what you wish for. iRacing unfortunately has a reputation of screwing up their physics and car models so bad that they are so disconnected from reality. Austin Ogonoski proved this years ago.
