Get rid of the damn diffuser and add horsepower to 900. It will drive like a gen 4 car,

Yes! Minimum 750hp and no shifting!

Shifting, horsepower and aero. It’s all a problem NASCAR either won’t fix or they keep trying to find other solutions around the issue instead of tackling it head on

Are they saying shifting is unfair on short tracks? I know I hate it in iRacing because I’m just risking a spin everytime I do it for very little gain, in perticular Trucks and Xfinity

@KarlMan20 they’re not saying it’s unfair. The issue is that shifting covers mistakes. It used to be that you had to keep momentum through the corner to have drive off. Now though, they can downshift and the car is in the right RPM range to where they can get drive off the corner regardless if they messed up the corner or not

For the short tracks and road courses get rid of the diffuser, 800hp, 4 gears, minimal downforce, smaller brakes and smaller tires width wise, you’re a multi billion dollar company don’t act like you can’t do it

No. The issue is the short track (and road course) package sucks. Smaller brakes, smaller tires, and less downforce (no diffuser) are needed if we want to see better racing on those tracks

Shorten up gears 1-4

Yes, it’s a big issue. There should not be shifting on ovals. Smaller brakes, narrow tire, and more HP
