The Newman thing still bothers me to this day
Brad wrecking Jeff at Texas is something I will NEVER forget or forgive I still dislike pinhead Brad lol
@Texas Trainmasters Same
was that Larson in the 42?
@Jay Santos yes
Me too!
I’m so worried for the Roval this weekend as a Kyle Busch fan
Why? He’s been doing much better the last couple years there.
9:26 I think the Xfinity regular season finale was at Bristol that year
10:38 You left out the part where Clements appealed and got the penalty overturned
How about the biggest underdog wins in NASCAR XFinity and Truck history?
Cool vid! Imo the cup clips are all pretty covered on YouTube. More clips of trucks and Xfinity playoff moments would be great. Some of the best storylines in nascar are overshadowed and forgotten because it wasn’t Cup. The dogfight that was Hornaday Vs Benson for instance…2008? They swapped the points lead each week. Even Ty Dillon should be a truck champ but Larson took him out in the last laps of Homestead.
The Hail Melon was from last year, not this year
3:26 That season explained the reason why Playoffs don’t work on motorsports. You can win 35 out of 36 races and still lose the championship.
That’s how traditional sports work too?
Yeah, that can happen in regular sports too my guy.
Didn’t that also happen in professional football? The New England Patriots won every single game in their NFL season but lost the championship. Unheard of before then, winning every game
@Devin C Yep! Except the 1972 Dolphins went the entire season undefeated.
And don’t forget countless Major Leage Baseball teams have won over a hundred games, only to have one bad round and lose to a Wild Card team in the first round of the postseason
Playoffs were one of the best ideas for NASCAR.
Realized I made a few mistakes in this video. The hail melon at 5:02 is from 2022 and Jeremy Clements filed for an appeal and won retaining his playoffs spot.
Another Mistake made was calling Martinsville the RO8 Eliminator which at the time it was the opener, great vid tho
@TreyRex99 What one?
When Ross the Boss made that move, me and my dad were goin nuts
I got to watch the Hail Melon live in person. Hell of an experience
Kenseth taking out Logano in 2015 is replaying in my memory
Whenever I have a bad day, I watch the replay, and it brings a smile to my face.
As a Gordon fan 2014 Phoenix broke me. Chastain’s move at Martinsville will go down as one of the greatest moments in NASCAR. It was crazy.
The playoff format annoys me, especially after 2020 with Harvick getting screwed cause of the format but he deserves credit on how well he handled the situation after Martinsville.
What you dont what they didn’t show is that when Clements won, the caution came out because Herbst went almost all the way up to the wall, in front of two other cars.
Chastain’s move was one of those “that was so cool! I do t wanna see it again” moments
9:25 – Mistake here
The Xfinity Series ended their regular season in 2022 at Bristol, not Daytona
That move of Ross Chastain at Martinsville 2022 tops it, you won’t ever see that again.
