Who are you picks to make the Final Four?
11, 24, 17, 19
Owners points: Buescher byron Elliot Hamlin
Drivers points: truex byron Hamlin Buescher
5, 24, 11, and 45. The first 3 picks of mine were easy to pick, but the last slot was a challenge as all of them can truly make it.
I want 24,5,12,45
But Realistically I got 24,5,11,19
Byron,Bell,Larson,Blaney
Truex’s luck runs out here. When you don’t finish in the Top 15 in any of the playoff races so far, the odds won’t be in your favour.
Truex has faced worse.
Idk why Truex hasn’t done anything in the playoffs. Seems like when the playoffs start the parity just goes away lol
Did you forget that the round of 8 is filled with his best tracks
My championship 4 picks are William Byron, Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, and Martin Truex Jr. The 5 and the 19 have speed, but those two teams need to turn things around if they have any shot of competing for a second championship. Out of my four pics, Truex is the least likely to make it, based on the trends.
I feel it’s more like Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Chris Buescher, and Martin Truex Jr. Bryon ends up choking in Vegas or Martinsville, Larson and Hamlin have it in the bag on points, Buescher can upset the field at Homestead if the crew calls the shots right, and quite possibly derail MTJ’s chances at the final 4. If Truex doesn’t make it, Byron will after a desperate attempt to salvage an entry at Martinsville, a-la Chastain
@S.KullRandomI agree William chokes on success but I think Larson would be on the same boat as William
I still have Byron, Larson, Truex, and Buescher making it to the final round
I would drop truex
Honestly Bryon and Hamlin should be a definite in, but I think that reddick could becasue he’s turned it around, and I also think truex could turn it around. But I’m just gonna say Hamlin Byron truex and bell
I think Hamlin Byron Larson and my 4th slot has shifted between MTJ and buescher but probably buescher over truex. Blaney got lucky to be in the round of 8 I don’t for see him getting in the top 4
I feel like Byron will choke at Vegas or Martinsville. MTJ and Buescher have a battle to fight as they’re at the bottom half of the Top 4. Larson and Hamlin have their entry pre-stamped by Vegas’ end
@S.KullRandom I’m really excited for these next 3 races they are bitter sweet like I hate the anticipation of waiting I just want to know already but then again I won’t have anything to look forward to anymore.
8:38 Blaney is gonna change that stat this year. Mark my words.
Marking
This is blaneys year to make it to the final 4
Byron, Hamlin, Larson, and Reddick make the final four
Truex’s playoff run ends here. You cannot be running 15th to 20th and not be exposed in the Round of 8
My picks for the championship 4 are Byron, Larson, Hamlin, and Blaney. Truex is just too inconsistent to make it.
I think reddick, byron, hamlin and buescher will make it because they all have good tracks in the playoffs
Truex is also a threat at homestead Miami and Martinsville
There’s a decent chance the final four consists of drivers whose last names begin with “B”: Byron, Bell, Buescher, and Blaney
I really hope this happens, it’d be so awesome.
I hope for Buescher then
I think its going to be HMS vs JGR all over again. Larson and Byron Vs Hamlin and MTJ
Have you seen truex’a speed?
Well that makes the championship race even more boring
@NoRandoma race at Phoenix is boring no matter what. The final race is decided by the fastest pit stop for a late race caution.
@NoRandomhms is not dull they are just the best in the business you just a hater
Hamlin, Truex, Larson, Buescher. For the final 4. Byron will end up crashing out at Vegas, sending him down a rut that he’ll struggle to get out of, thus sealing his fate to be eliminated. Larson and Hamlin will get in on points as they find that strategy to be fruitful. Truex, on the other hand, has an uphill climb to do after so many subpar finishes. I feel like the loss of Pollex hit him and his team hard, and he’s been struggling since. He most likely will get a win at Martinsville or Homestead, if his crew calls the shots right and would raise morale among them. Buescher is the wild card, having won 3 races AND being at the top 10 in stages, he has a shot to be a sleeper champ that no one saw coming. It would raise RFK LEAGUES above SHR, which has been slumping as of late. Everyone else is eliminated
Too many people are sleeping on Blaney. He may not win his way in but he’s gonna be consistent enough to get in on points I can promise you
As for the other three, give me Truex, Hamlin, and Larson. These three are running at their best track in the finally stretch going into Phoenix and if everything holds to form they’re getting in on wins
Blaney could definitely point his way in, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he won either Vegas or Homestead, even though there’s a clear favorite for Homestead. He hasn’t been the best at Martinsville, but with Joey out, I’m sure he’d get a little more help there than in the past when Joey was in. Joey doesn’t strike me as the sharing type when it’s him or the other guy.
I agree with both of you guys. I would really love to see him in the championship 4, and im also going to Martinsville so to see him run well there would be great
I think we can and should cut Truex a break given that his longtime girlfriend did die a few weeks ago. Honestly, I think the guys in the booth have kind of left that out on purpose because they just don’t want to touch that subject, but I’m doing it for them. I know they broke it off a year or so ago, but still. You aren’t with someone for as long as they were together and then just lose all the attachment you had to them, especially if there is a tragedy.
Final four:
5 – Solid finishes or a win at one of the 1/5 mile tracks, secures his ticket. If not a win, then points sails him off!
24- He manages to keep his nose clean, and if the trend and pattern is correct thus far in the playoffs. I’m think he will secure his spot with a win. Something tells me his trophy room will be ticking at the end of this round.
11- Consistency and staying out of trouble will be his key to the final four.
17- Somehow some way, he quietly is seen within the top 5 and even top 3 more often than not in the playoffs. I think he will quietly accumulate and collect enough points to just sneak into the final 4. (however, I think in the owner’s points title, Chase’s number 9, will eliminate the 17 from the owners points championship)
Out:
20- I just don’t think, they have the momentum or the speed as they had the previous year to pull an upset. I think either bad luck or not good enough finishes will doom him.
19- The man has yet to get a break on the word “go” of the playoffs. I think the bad luck and poor results will continue to doom him out of the playoffs. I do think, he will do better in this round, but his luck would turn around just too late.
45- While I do think he will get close, maybe A point or two from swapping with the 17. But, if he don’t win at Las Vegas or Homestead, I think Martinsville will drown his hopes.
12- Penske, Ford in a nutshell since 2021 (except for RFK somehow). Even if Logano won the title last year, he wasn’t exactly an odds on favorite, or tearing up the schedule with like 5+ wins.
I think it will be Larson, Byron, Hamlin for sure making it but I’ma have a wild take and say this is Blaney’s year to make the final 4. Definitely won’t win it but I think he will shock everyone and make it in.
Byron and Hamlin are the only two locks to advance. Outside of two crashes, Hamlin arguably has had the most dominant car thus far.
I agree with your top 3, Byron, Hamlin, and Larson. The 4th slot is probably just gonna go to one of the other 5 after finding a win. And to me thats too much a toss up to predict. I’ll be hoping for Reddick tho, haha!
