Larson is the first driver to lead 1000 laps in a season with the gen 7 car

It seems Indianapolis helped boost Larson to the front!

Christopher Bell could have easily spun Larson for the win. Very classy act but it may have cost him a shot at the championship.

Logano, Chastain, or Hamlin would have wrecked him.

Bell has taken enough drivers out this year. Not so much on purpose but has wrecked them. ( Larson at Pocono, Gibbs at Daytona, Daniel at the Roval. Really glad he raced clean.

Larson acknowledged that immediately also, thanked him

Bell, once again, showing up big in the playoff races.

you know it’s a good race when the highlights cut from 44 to go directly to the final corner and the standings did not change in the slightest

It’s the way races should end…with a long green flag run, to see who made the right adjustments and who can ultimately save there tires and chase down the win or hold ‘em off.

Larson is a modern day AJ Foyt this guy can drive the mess out of anything.

Reply
Gregory October 16, 2023 at 12:04 am

Larson owes Bell big time for that win, and what a veteran move from such a young kid to not wreck Larson and possibly take himself out.

Reply
Gnarfle The Garthok October 16, 2023 at 5:22 am

He doesn’t owe him anything he got beat. Plus he spun him out at Pocono so he better race him clean.

Anyone notice how fast Kyle Busch was all the sudden that last run….9th to 3rd

I was there and he hammered down the last 10 laps. Pretty impressive

That was a real good race. I had to listen to it after the first stage ended. But it was definitely great. Kyle had a good car.

Going for the Indy 500 to add to the accomplishments. What a driver…the slide at 7:17 brought the experience with sprint cars in handy.

Huge respect for Bell. He could’ve spun Larson but he got class. Hope he wins the next race

That block in the last corner from Larson gave him milliseconds to win at finish line! Great move! And nice win!
