It’s funny how he’s had to do three videos because Blaney got DQ’d, then it got reversed. Also, looking forward to Groovy Hollow 3!!

Wow what a turn of events the past couple days. Super happy that NASCAR had admitted that it was their fault for the issue that they found in Blaney’s car. Hopefully NASCAR can make changes to where shocks and different parts don’t have to come loose during the race or something.
That makes me wonder. What if the reason Harvick was suspended was because the windshield fasteners somehow got loose during the race or practice? I think its something NASCAR should consider for building on next season.

The fastener issue was a safety violation I believe, however I don’t think it warranted a DQ. Post race infractons should be fines because NASCAR should find any issues that are performace bases in all the pre-race inspections they do. If they miss that, it’s their fault for missing it and the teams shouldn’t be DQ’d or lose points for their error, just like here with Blaney.

They should’ve tested all 4 shocks before issuing penalty. Measure twice cut once

The rear ones are different as far as minimum length and probably different for all 4 corners and all 4 were checked

I LOVE the Harvick scheme. If they wanted to fill in that open space, they could put “EVER” beside the 4. I think that would be even cooler and fitting.

I feel bad for Ryan Blaney. Man needs to have a session with a chiropractor for all that whiplash he’s had over the last few days. Still, at least this way he’s back in the running, and I’m looking forward to seeing the tightest round of 8 in recent memory play out without unnecessary shenanigans.

The fact that Heim won’t be in Xfinity next year after completely showing out in Trucks these last two years is easily the biggest head scratcher of this silly season. I’m actually surprised Heim took the Truck deal, bc I’m pretty sure he had some competitive Xfinity deals.

Must be waiting for an even better ride. I think people are more interested in staying behind longer to get a Quality ride rather than a garbage ride

This is one “Shocking” story worth telling down the road

Good on Nascar to double check their process, I think this helps the transparency that everyone wants.

Still can’t believe this is Harvick’s last year. Seems like yesterday Sr. Had his accident. Man how time flies.

Minus 17 points is so much better than minus 56 points and I glad to see Ryan Blaney is back in the game although it’s still going to be a up hill battle… This Buds for you and it’s one last ride for Kevin Harvick and Budweiser the car looks awesome and it’s a great tribute to a great champion.

Glad to see the penalty rescinded and for NASCAR to show that openness that people have been asking for.

I remember 13 years ago when NASCAR gave the missing lug nut penalty to Brian Scott at Charlotte, but when they found out they got it wrong NASCAR put the race under yellow so he could get his spot back.

Eric, once again I have commend you. You do so much for this sport genre, whether it’s directly tied to NASCAR, oval racing or just stock car racing in general. You truly are a leader in genre and although I’ve never had time to take part in any of your hosted racing events, it’s always great to see you put them on.

On the one hand I’m glad they changed their minds and gave everything back to him but on the other hand they should had double check everything on their end before issuing any penalties going forward. Sure they want to get everything official ASAP but still they just need to at least get the call right after checking the car instead of going back and forth and causing doubt and confusion with the ruling.
