larson having 8 DNFs yet being in the championship 4 is truly a channeling ryan newman 2003 moment
He better not win the championship.
At this rate, the final 4 is going to be wild. Larson forgetting he’s supposed to finish the race, Bell being irrelevant for ⅔ of the season, Blaney winning the longest race, then just being average. Reddick i forget he drives half the time. Truex pulling a 2020 Harvick moment. Denny pulling a Denny moment. And then Prosper Texas’ own Christopher Buscher
Austin Dillon who finished 10th today has a whopping 10 DNFs which is the most amongst all drivers who started every race this season as of making this comment
Welcome to New Era NASCAR consistency means nothing if you can win races
NASCAR needs to make this the finale again this was a fantastic race and Congratulations to Bell on a well deserved redemption victory
I’m just gonna go ahead and say it: this was a generational thriller.
I sometimes consider that homestead is the interlagos of nascar and phoenix being the yas marina of nascar. Its obvious which track produce better racing but money talks louder.
My absolute favorite part of this race was when Denny Hamlin ran into the wall
Average hms meatrider
My Fav Part is where Larson wreck him self out on pit Road
During the driver introductions everyone booed Hamlin
@Beautiful Angel BlossomTrue, because most drivers would have just plowed into Blaney, Larson took the liberty to try not and ruin Blaneys chances of winning a title, and ruined his own chances of winning a race. Hell he already is locked in anyways, I see that as good sportsmanship right there
@ChazTheFloofer most drivers wouldn’t be trying to hit pit road at 100mph
Eric turning into 3 people and dancing was something I didn’t know I needed in my life
Definitely not needed lol
It’s moments like that that make me think someone needs to make one of those out of context compilations for Eric.
I LOVE IT
Eric dancing in the middle of the garage made my day.
Remember, Bell threw away the xfinity championship in 2018 after hitting the wall. Fast forward 5 years later and he’s got the most clutch win of his career at the same track.
Penske as a whole was very impressive today. Blaney got Hella points, Logano went from Last to 8th and Cindric ran top 15 most of the day
Agreed! They have life again!
I thought you meant in the standings when you said “Logano went from Last to 8th” and I thought “So he stayed where he is?”
Blaney is simply allergic to Ls. Both in real life and in these playoffs. Hoping he can finally get that long-awaited first Final 4 appearance
Homestead proves once again it is the top track on the schedule with great “natural” racing all over the track.
Atlanta used to be right with it until they ruined it.
No, everyone’s been saying this race is boring
And it was quite uneventful until the last stage.
I’ll be nervously awaiting Martinsville. I am hoping Blaney makes the final 4, I think this is the best opportunity he’s had yet to do it. He had a great car at Phoenix last year, he could pull of a championship if he makes it.
Hamlin always ends up eating his own words and I love it.
and with his best track coming up, what will happen next? Bowman bumps him out of the lead a few years ago and last year we know about Ross’s last lap video game move. The guy finds more ways to lose out on a title than anyone I’ve ever seen.
I hate DH, he’s a huge hypocrite
Hamlin can eat sh!t and bark at the moon.
I’m sure crybaby Hamlin will be wrecking a lot of drivers next week and somehow say it’s the other drivers fault as always. Hamlin is a hack !
TBF his crew chief did tell him to start trying when he almost went a lap down and C Bell did respond with “ok, I’ll start trying now.”
That last stage really saved it for me. I hate that Truex and Larson wrecked out. It’s a little harder to feel sorry for Hamlin, seeing as how he kept trying to use Blaney up. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
It seemed to me that Ryan Blaney couldn’t handle the hard racing yesterday …he was really nervous in all those interviews
i wish i had money to throw at you. because if anyone should be attending every single nascar race, it is you. you appreciate the drivers and the teams and all that, but also the way you paid attention to the crowd is something we miss otherwise. the excitement you brought to this video was palpable, capturing the energy of the moment. rick allen and jeff burton don’t always manage as much. thanks for caring so darn much.
Eric shouldn’t be relying on anyone for money he has to earn money to go to the races or get a job covering NASCAR that pays his way. He is to lazy to work a real job and rather have the handouts form viewers
This whole comment is spot on. I get all my NASCAR news from Eric. Thank you for the videos!
Fun Fact: Since 2015, Bell’s Crew Chief Adam Stevens has been to the Championship 4 a total of 7 times!
Christopher Bell is the new “Closer”
But a new brand “Closer.” Harvick’s “Closer” was closing out races.
Bell’s “Closer” is closing out the playoffs. Coming out of the middle of nowhere, when you think he’s down and out, to win
Remember, when I said that Denny Hamlin would find a way to lose the Championship? Now the question is will he make it to the Championship 4?
This is the first Cup Series race I’ve attended in person, and it did NOT disappoint.
Gotta love how Blaney has those emotions on his sleeve. Much respect.
