Big L for TRD? Assume Smith and Heim will replace Hamlin and Truex once they retire.
I was thinking the same thing. I’d imagine Smith replaces Truex and Heim replaces Hamlin when the time comes. Then Toyota’s cup lineup is Gibbs, Bell, Smith, Heim, Reddick, Wallace, Jones, and Nemecheck. Unless 23XI or LMC get another charter that’s a young and stacked lineup.

I agree with y’all about Smith replacing Truex but I think Sawalich comes right behind him in less than 2 years and takes over the 19
Don’t forget that Jones is coming back to Toyota along with Nemechek at LMC.

Dude was driving twice the equipment as any other driver in ARCA. Maybe Toyota knows more about his talent level in equal equipment than we do.

As a Toyota team enthusiast, I’d much rather lose Jesse love than William Sawalich. So I’m not mad about this, Goodluck at RCR
Toyota’s driver development program seems to have become Chevrolet’s main feeder system.

I’m surprised not many people talk about William Sawalich. I don’t know if it’s confirmed or rumored but it seems like he’s driving part time for JGR and going full in 2025, He’s made starts in the truck series and has done well when the only truck in Tricon that’s close to the level KBM was is the 11. Toyota and JGR believe in him, and he might be the next big thing. And they’ve sold me on him.
He looked really solid in the Winchester 400 last week—finished 4th.
I’d say once love didn’t get a Gibbs Xfinity car this year and would have to stay in arca, he said no way I’m out. When Creed got picked over him and Smith, it pissed him off and went to Chevy

There is still a chance he struggles because going from Arca, skipping truck’s and going strait to Exfinity could be tough
I think Austin was in on that decision with Jessie, he will drive for 2 more years and then move to the business side of RCR opening up that seat for the Love child!
