There’s a reason why Kevin Harvick, Ryan Newman, AND Tyler Reddick went to different teams. (And in the case of Harvick & Newman, they seemed fed up with RCR at the end of their tenures.)

I’d bet if Harvick got away to a different team earlier he would be pushing 80 wins. They held him back big time.
They had to know if creed won and austin was 2nd , both cars are in the playoffs ? Unbelievable !

Austin is just a product of the environment. So is Creed. RC has had these problems following him for 30 years. Its clear who the real problem is.

Question for RCR- do you want your drivers to go 100% or not? Do you want them to try to win or not? Do you want them to want to win championships or not?
If Kyle Busch ever ends up leaving RCR, then the team is doomed.
Not mention he is now partnered with Spire Motorsports as a consultant so he could very well be on his way over there if Childress doesn’t get his act together.
RCR has been doomed ever since he put his grandkids in his cars.

One of the rare times that I agree with Kyle Petty. Racing like that on the short tracks in the late 80s, 90s and 2000s was part of racing.

Kyle is absolutely right about this. I look at Richard Childress in a completely different light now. There is no way they didn’t know that both drivers would be in the playoffs if Creed won. It was a complete failure on the team not the drivers. Although someone needs to show Austin the replay-it was JHN who hit on the restart and on the final lap to cause the wreck.
I think Austin said that Sheldon brake checked him in the middle of 3 and 4, it broke the radiator, and he had no power coming off of 4, making him a sitting duck to get ran over.
Honestly this made me like Sheldon even more than I already did.
Rarely agree with KP, but I am 100% with him on this. Childress and Petrie failed to communicate with their drivers and paid the price. Leadership is more than standing around with headphones and a mic…use them and let your drivers know what’s going on. Creed’s best move is leaving RCR and getting out of that swamp.
True, but RC is super vocal on Austin Dillon’s radio then he is for anyone else. I think no manager should hover over the team, just like Rick Hendrick or Joe Gibbs.
Well, I don’t believe RC ever called his grandson the stupidest driver ever, or words to that effect. Have a little respect for your drivers…talk to them off line if you are that upset. Very unprofessional
