What do you think is the best Nascar playoffs format?

The old Winston Cup points system.

Give me the 04 Chase format, 10 drivers for 10 races but keep the stage racing and points

The Biff sets a ‘screen’ …. kinda like how minimizing the chance for others to score points allows a lower score to win the game! ‘Moneyball!’

And now with these so called entertaining playoffs the ratings are down every year when it starts

I wouldn’t mind NASCAR bringing back the chase format

Kevin Harvick is right. Kevin Harvick supports the season long format. He knows that if it wasn’t for the playoffs or the Chase he would’ve been a four time champion because he was the most consistent driver in 2010, 2015, 2016 and of course 2020. It was a disgrace that Kevin did not win the title in 2020 as he was the best driver all year. Chase Elliott didn’t deserve to win the title in 2020, Chase would’ve won his first title in 2022 with Winston cup points. In 2025 NASCAR needs to go back to Winston cup points and if I was in control of the management of the point system or Tony Stewart or Dale junior was, I know they would bring back the Winston Cup points and the same would be said for Harvick.

Ok, 2004. I Liked The Chase Format, Way More, Not The Elimination Playoff Format From 2014, So, Go Back, To The Origanal Chase Format, With The 2004-2006 10 Driver/2004-2013 10 Chase Race Format, But No More Point Resets, And That’s, It.

I enjoy Nascar on every level. I know people hate stage racing and so on BUT honestly I feel it is more of a chess game.
I am one who believes it is not all about the driver it also lies heavily on the full team as well..
Yes I grew up with up with the season long BUT to bring in more fans why not. We hate to lose our Nascar because no one pays attention.
My son a Kurt Busch fan now 10. Was devestated by his retirement. I loved watching him drive too.
A die hard Tony Stewart fan. I struggled to find a new driver. After the hail melon I am 100% a Chastain fan. I also stick with the 14 as he feels the same about Tony as I do.
I am 100% pro street race BUT to race dirt it should be at a dirt track. Eldora would be a prime track.
Enough about my opinion. Looking forward to a Nascar season finale weekend.

Nascar has sucked since 2004. No one from 2004 is a legit champion.
