No way Ross did not expect to be hit.

Awesome! I like Chastain but in that situation he got what he needed in a message.

How, what is he suppose to pull over and let him go.if blaney was faster he could have drove around him

@richardadams7693  , no he wasn’t. He did everything he was supposed to do, but when he started the blocking I think Blaney did what he needed to do.

@Steven Tweed Ross never threw a block, he just flat outdrove Ryan in a slower car, Ross scares the hell out of them because he is a better driver, they feel they have to hold him down, it’s a very rare driver that can get more out of a car than it’s got, in fact the only driver I have ever seen that could, was Dale the man.

@user-Dr.  , I like Ross. Don’t get me wrong. He’s good for the sport. He was doing what he needed to do, dirtying up the air but Blaney did what he needed to do also.

I never though Blaney would finish the race. I love me an in-car camera so I could see Blaney meltdowns. Hilarious. Congrats for keeping it together.

He hit him square and didn’t cause a wreck. Its not like he dumped him

If that had been Dale Sr. behind Ross he would have been introduced to the wall. Great job Ryan Blaney , a deserving champion.

deserving champion? he was 7th in points in the winston system..

As I heard Dale put it one time, “He kept running into the front of my car with his back bumper.”

…playoff system aside…2 positions ahead of another driver should not have been better than 3 more wins….system is flawed…didn’t deserve it, was just in the right place at the right time.

@LordBurgerOld points system is irrelevant so why you bringing it up. Blaney wins the championship with the format that was given.

Ross actually raced a pretty clean race…can’t stand the guy but I’m glad my guy won the championship.

Ross did everything right… not excessive. So did Ryan. Finally… good hard racing. It’s why I watch
