In June of 2006, after a year and a half of being a NASCAR fan, I got to go to my first NASCAR race with my dad on Father's Day. While the race would be rain shortened it still had some thrilling moments and great racing that I want to relive with all of you.

Became a fan during the 2000 off season. Mine was the 2001 Daytona 500. Did not watch the last 70-80 laps. I was BS’ng all day about cutting the grass and my dad kicked me off the couch to finish the job. As soon as I finished I went to my friends house to play the Original War craft. I came home and saw the news. It hit me harder than it should have as a new fan. Such big news back then

I’m glad you watched this, Jaret. Kasey Kahne was my favorite driver, so this race is definitely one of my faves.
I also have that same Kahne Click Diecast. I may have to add that Dale Jr car to my collection next.
