It would be absolutely hilarious if KB wins popular driver. It would complete his redemption arch from villain to hero

But he wont let’s face it it will be byron or Larson and if chase somehow wins I will throw a riot

@Kitty Neko why? chase is one of the most loved drivers, and he consistently proves he’s both quality and skilled.

Looking at Toyota’s entire lineup, everything seems pretty focused on flowing lines and rounder edges, so it makes sense to do away with the sharp angles of the camry we knew. Fits better with the supra, 86, etc

Had no idea a channel could or would regain my interest in NASCAR for the first season in over a decade, and now even through the offseason? You’ve really got a great channel Eric

Reply
Ian Bowers November 27, 2023 at 8:15 pm

Same. I had kinda given up on Nascar around 2012ish (after Mark Martin retired), but this channel has revived it to a huge degree. Even if I don’t watch the race on Sunday, I still make sure to catch each OOTG episode to stay up to day on what’s going on.

I am hyped for the return of the #60, possibly a split schedule with Briscoe, Cindric, Justin Haley, Berry, Preece, Gragson, Keselowski, Buescher, McDowell, Majeski, and Rhodes

Johnathon Kelley November 27, 2023 at 11:02 pm

That’s way too many drivers man.

A lot of drivers.

@Johnathon KelleyI know, I just listed Ford drivers

Edwards

Veloce November 28, 2023 at 12:10 pm

I think more likely is Haley, Buescher, Keselowski and maybe a couple Ford truck drivers as you mentioned.

I like how reserved the Camry looks with this current body. The previous model looked too busy for my tastes

Reply
BaDArtz November 28, 2023 at 12:49 pm

I mean, it seems Toyota is trying to unify their model lineup (which I respect the idea of having a unifying feature across models). Take a look at the new Prius and Corona (Crown)

That Toyota design looks interesting. So far Ford looks to have an aero advantage over it at least. Wondering if Chevy will announce anything to replace the Camaro

Reply
John Haas November 27, 2023 at 7:51 pm

No advantages exist

Reply
cosmicdisaster November 27, 2023 at 8:08 pm

@johnhaas2523 like period? I assure you that different shaped bodies will have different aero effects and the chance that those effects are exactly equal is so small it’s almost 0

IMX383 November 27, 2023 at 9:33 pm

@John Haasthey could drop Chevy and put Cadillac (CT5 For cup CT4 For Xfinity)

Reply
McQueen Mcflurry November 27, 2023 at 10:09 pm

Maybe the Chevy Malibu can replace the Camaro, it qas theorized by many NASCAR youtubers as well

Reply
Justin Young November 28, 2023 at 12:37 am

Malibu replaces the Camaro as a “Kill ’em All” wedge design like the Lumina of the early 90’s or a Chevy SS-like homologation special that’s essentially a Chevy grill on a Cadillac

Not a fan of Toyota drivers, but that looks darn cool and fast! It will be a problem for other manufacturers next year.

I hope Carl Edwards gets the 60 car in the Daytona 500 I would love to see it

Reply
Skyler Lysek November 28, 2023 at 1:32 am

I think if RFK was entering a third car for any races, with Smith nolonger with FRM they make a deal with the 36.

The 36 is the 2nd in owner points for the non chartered teams, so if anything happens with qualifying then the 36 would get in the race.
(I know Daytona the most unlikely to have qualifying canceled, but never know anymore)

The front of the Camry, along with being flatter in the middle, almost looks like it has a negative(inward) angle as it goes down, which you’d think would push more air down towards the splitter creating more downforce. They are always talking about the aero push in traffic, so maybe this design reduces that a bit.

lynx November 27, 2023 at 7:32 pm

I feel I’m the only one that likes the Camry, I feel it looks really cool and futuristic and it fits the next gen chassis nicely

Reply
Mustang88 November 27, 2023 at 8:11 pm

@onyxlynxypoo
Same. Some people don’t like it and think it’s horrible but I actually think it looks really cool.

Reply
JBAlt November 28, 2023 at 12:58 am

To be honest, pretty much anything ever described as “futuristic” has always looked ugly to me. I’m just not a fan of the “futuristic” design style. It’s also why I don’t like the new Mustang.

Reply
Giant Hand November 28, 2023 at 1:15 am

@JBAlt Fair enough.

Noah Mielke November 27, 2023 at 7:48 pm

I feel like this new rendering of the new 2025 Toyota is a bit too futuristic and modern looking for me. I’m sure the flat nose will help with drafting at super speedway’s. But I don’t know how I feel about this or how it will look compared to the new designed ford dark horse and the comaro.

Reply
Danny Alex November 27, 2023 at 8:01 pm

The new Camry is alright imo but I prefer the 2017-2023 Camry stock car body over the new body

Icee-BlueBurst November 27, 2023 at 8:32 pm

Wonder what the RFK 60 is for? Can’t wait to see what it is for Wednesday!

Reply
Robert Cline November 27, 2023 at 11:02 pm

wind tunnel testing probably played a big role in the Camry

Reply
Paul November 27, 2023 at 11:13 pm

It’d be great to see RFK return to Xfinity. Especially with their growth restarting a development program would be good for the future. But someone at RFK should bring the 99 back and exorcise the 60

Reply
Xavier Juno November 28, 2023 at 1:25 am

They would have to make a deal with Trackhouse since they currently own the charter for that number

Reply
Rollingzoku89 November 28, 2023 at 3:07 pm

I’m loving that NASCAR is allowing the manufacturers to have brand identity again. The mustang and Camry look so much different(as they should). I’m interested to see what GM brings to the table.
