@sw120 and maybe the 2 team that maybe fully gone now also. Nick’s car was in a post at the spire truck shop. (A post I randomly saw on discord) so guessing nick is one of the drivers and with his sponsor being gainbridge makes since.
When I’ve gone to Dover with my dad who’s a casual fan it was pretty frustrating not being able to explain cautions or stage breaks to him but the noise still definitely adds to the experience for a casual fan as well.
It’s got to be Thad Moffitt. It was his ARCA number and Petty’s typically take the previous generations number and add 1 (Lee 42, Richard 43, Kyle 44, Adam 45)
@@brendancarroll7913 This teams branding is also Petty GMS colors, and Eric has worked with Thad Moffitt in the past. Thad gave Eric a tour of the Petty museum and Thad was in Groovy Hollow this year
The noise is part of it. The feeling at at track when the engines spool up at a restart and the whole track is on their feet is special and unlike any other sport. It’s also really special when you can hear the cheering over the cars and makes it that much more exiting
@johnhaas2523, I just spent a week at the snowball derby and all the pro LMs were way quieter then the supers or the modifieds. The sound of the louder cars makes them sound faster and makes it cooler
Really good to see a new team in the truck series. Hopefully they’ll do well. With Niece they should be pretty good out of the box. Of course that all depends on the driver as well. Good luck to Faction 46.
My first Nascar race was at Talladega. On the initial “get up to speed” lap I stood beside the catch fence and when 43 cars came by in a pack at full throttle the ground shook, the wind turbulence blasted my face, my hearing was distorted and the smell of fuel & oil was forced into my nostrils. It was surreal and I was hooked forever! NEVER restrict the exhaust noise. Want to talk? Then go to the concession area.
My girlfriend and I went to road america, girlfriends first NASCAR race. The smile on her face when the cup cars came roaring by us was priceless. The noise is definitely part of the experience. You take away the noise you take away the feel of what I think a NASCAR should feel like!
One of the biggest reasons why I love ing going to NASCAR races is because of the energy and how awesome the experience is. I think the loud noise is necessary to preserve this awesome experience!
The first time I ever noticed the importance of noise was at monster jam with the diesel truck and its definitely a huge factor to fan enjoyment but I see your point too. Seems like a fine line between core fans opinions and bringing in new ones.

Nice to see a new team enter the Truck Series. Wasn’t the #46 owned by G2G Racing, or did they shut down?
I hope they shut down
Most of the G2G equipment just ended up on RacingJunk. Seems they’re on the way out.
good riddance.
G2G just said they’re getting new numbers.
@@nascarfan05 It’ll likely be #47, since they’ve used it before.

Just curious how you have missed the big news of TRACKHOUSE racing entering Moto GP with Aprilia?????????
This new team feels gimmicky. IS this for real?
Prediction matt dibenedetto to drive the 46
Is the 46 faction fulltime ?
@@mS-of6pgI think so
Nice to see a new team in the sport
Love seeing new teams in each series, glad someone will be filling the slots left by KBM and GMS
Kbm ??? The number of trucks out of the new stable isn’t changing is it ?
KBM just got sold, they’re just operating under Spire. GMS is the only team that is 100% gone

Always great to see new teams starting up. Best of luck Faction 46✌

Same exact scenario for me
Same thing with my mom
you can rent scanners with a push to talk feature so you can talk to each other. its not perfect but it helps
Because Larson said this people will forget about it soon, but if Hamlin said this, people would never let it down. Not a Hamlin fan, just saying
Exactly
Agreed
As a Denny Hater myself, I think this is true though!
Can’t wait to see who drives the #46 truck. Best of luck new team.
Awesome to see you working with a team. congratulations on the opportunity and i look forward to the great content!!

he’s been teasing an announcement later this week on twitter by counting up to 46 so I think it is him
Don’t forget Ritchie 53.
@ry-x probably but the way reporters worded it it sounds more like he’s starting a team bit idk

it is Thad Moffitt

No one is saying quite like street cars

Man I had the same experience when I was 8 years old at the fence in Richmond. I’ve been a car junkie ever since!!
You gave me chills with that post.

Yup!
Cool to see new teams entering nascar. Would love to see if possible discussion on paint schemes how teams come up with it. Or just meeting the team.

Still will be loud

That’s so awesome seeing a brand new team from my home state! They’ve definitely got a fan here! Wishing them all the best!
