Eric Claus is strict on his good list and bad list. Also Merry Christmas!
Interested to see how these new changes will perform for the 2024 season. I’ll be keeping an eye on guys like Hocevar, Gragson, and Berry.
Stewart-Haas Racing appears to be acting more as a tax write-off instead of true competitor.
Josh Berry is an A. Merry Christmas Eric. I hope y’all have a good one
I feel like the Harrison Burton and Daniel Hemric grades were too generous. The other grades are pretty spot on. Merry Christmas Eric Estepp
I think we’re getting a new improved Noah. He has had a lot of time to think of how he proceeds forward.
I think this will be his best year. I think he just needs a restart. I believe he’s going to be a key player in the Daytona 500 come February.
I think him getting suspended and having to do The sensitivity training or whatever along with him asking for his release from legacy so he could work on himself was a good thing for him just form a mental health point of view
It might be a toned down 2021 Kyle Larson deal with less wins and no championship maybe in playoffs maybe 1 or 2 wins
Noah is actually the biggest the horn dog in the field right now. I follow him on IG and half the time a hot chick shows up in feed it says “followed by noahgragson”. We are truly seeing a man of taste in the 10 car.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you Eric!! Enjoy the rest of 2023! Thanks for the great content this year!
With Berry and Gragson, I believe SHR will be back in 2018 form in a few years. The big thing that made them work at that time was the veteran talent. Kurt Busch, Clint Bowyer, Almirola, and Harvick. After that dream team broke up, you could see cracks start to form with Suarez, Custer, and others. Now their lineup includes scrappy drivers who are more there for talent than funding and while the results won’t show due to initial funding, I believe they can start attracting sponsors when they flash their brilliance and attract fans to purchase merch
Preece is a threat at short tracks
Briscoe has Phoenix
Berry already knocked on victory lane part time
Gragson is dangerous at almost every racing format
Strong points! Hope you’re right
Sponsorship for Noah is just a matter of being announced. Josh has sponsorship or at least some as looks like Harrison’s is going to be on the car as I seen they are teasing announcement soon. I’m sure gear wrench is going to be on the 4 car also and maybe Johnny Morris splits the bass pro shops SHR sponsorship between Noah and Josh well also staying as Martin’s primary sponsor and also Austin’s sponsor for some races. Of course none of that is as big of $ as Busch and Smithfield
I hope you’re right but I don’t see it. One thing the most successful CUP teams have in common (Hendrick, JGR etc.) is that the owners(s) are VERY involved with their teams on a regular basis and especially on “Sundays”. Tony has a successful NHRA team and now competes full time in that sport, and Gene is more interested in F1 or other forms of racing. I have been a Stewart fan for years, but I personally don’t think “absentee owners” inspire the team in any way.
I honestly believe if rwr can get haley and grala in their cars full time and only focus on those 2 drivers they could become a solid mid pack team those are 3 great drivers who are going to get the best put of their equipment and not wreck a lot of cars but the team and the drivers need to be fully bought in to this and maybe 3 or 4 years from now they mid 20s consistently
Don’t ever expect them to be a top 10 team though
Very much looking forward to next years rookie of the year battle. No idea what to expect, as both the drivers and the teams will be proving themselves next year. Will SHR get its act together? Will LMC do well with Toyota? Will the new funding transform Spire into a consistent threat?
Almost as big of an unknown as the first year of the Next Gen imo
SHR looking for senior vehicle dynamic engineer’s I believe the job on the one website was posted 3 times all on the same day as back on the 7th of this month. Legacy is looking for several different positions like technical director. Shop foreman and someone who does wrap installs
@@EricEsteppI agree
Zane Smith will win rookie of the year
@@jacksonrobison1901 right now I’m giving the edge to John Hunter
I do like the Zane smith to track house singing. I think he will be a key player this season. Not to mention the Daytona 500. We all know he’s won daytona in the truck series the past few years. I believe he will be a real threat come the super speedway’s.
Probably a one year deal. Smith has a deal with Trackhouse. That charter will likely go to TR in 2025 on a lease.
@@kurtisgalloway218 yes. They’ve stated that by next year their goal is to bring him in-house. So I don’t know where that would leave SVG. They would either have to go out and secure another charter or lease from another team. But if track house doesn’t have a charter for him. Maybe they open up an xfinity team and put him there for the time being. Maybe SVG and Daniel Suarez split a car. I don’t know. We will have to see what they end up doing come the 2025 season.
@noahmielke2148 Depending on how 2024 goes, they may let go Suarez.
@@kurtisgalloway218 exactly. Suarez didn’t do anything that impressive in that ride last season. And it’s not the first time this question has been brought up. It sounds like they were on the brige with whether or not to let him go last season. So that will probably be something that comes up again this season. They will have to decide if they want SVG over Daniel Suarez in one of their cars for the 2025 season.
For Gragson I think he gets an A+. He originally signed last year with Petty GMS, as soon as Jimmie came along Gragson was the odd man out. He was a lame duck driver on a lame Duck team with no factory support. Then came the rumors that LMC was looking to move on from him mid-season and they got exactly what they needed with the social media thing.
Now he’s with a Key partner organization and while we all know SHR’s struggles the last couple years they are still a top tier, championship winning organization.
Massive W for Gragson and I really hope he does well.
I don’t think he would have been out if he didn’t crash all the time or say some of what did. His personality wasn’t a fit though for a team owned by Jimmie
LaJoie has already showed he can perform with time, ‘23 was his best year yet. the Hocevar and Zane deal doesn’t need to solidify it. I think it’ll be a game of who gets the priority equipment between the three that proves who’s best and who’s not. LaJoie and Ryan Sparks are great for Spire and have had a hand in turning that team around from a backmarker team to a midpack team that gets better every year, and spire getting sponsors helps as well.
Excited to see what McDowell can do. He’s great for FRM’s cup program and also gets better every year.
I would ❤ to see Noah Gregson future NASCAR’ champion !
I gotta give Hocevar an A as well. Coming into this season I fully expected him to be Full time Xfinity either with JRM or a Spire entry but in no way did I think he was even remotely ready for cup. His super sub status definitely changed that and I look forward to seeing what he can do over the next few years.
Merry Christmas Eric
Thanks for the videos this year
Wishing you and your family have a wonderful Christmas / New Year from Australia
Bring on 2024 with all of these interesting changes in cup hope it all lives up to the hype
Merry Christmas ❤❤❤
Happy holidays to you Eric I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and new years
