I think that Trackhouse will use the spire 71 as a reserve for their main operation. If they grab another charter they could have the main 3 racing and if one of them doesnt preform they take whoever is in the 71 up to Trackhouse and ‘demote’ the other to the 71.
My List is Definitely Just these 3:
1 – Suarez
2 – Bowman
3 – Burton
Top 2 got to win & the other be actually consistent. Others can depend on many different factors that can change easily.
Suarez is definitely under pressure this upcoming season. He has been on several Cup teams already and he’s out of excuses. He needs to win some races or he’s done
@StewieGriffinFanProductionsDecember 26, 2023 at 5:48 pm
This is a make or break year for Harrison Burton. If he continues to do nothing in Cup, demote him back down to the Xfinity Series just like with Cole Custer.
I believe Burton is out unless he picks up the performance to top 20. If Elliott, Larson, and Byron are winning races this year and chevrolet is still performing well then Bowman is out if Hendrick finds a big time guy in silly season or if a xfinity guy goes absolutely off. Suarez is out if Zane and Shane performs in all of their races.
And how long does DEX want to sponsor a sub-par driver (on the CUP level) whose only time the cameras are on him is when the leader is lapping him or when he’s crashing?
@@johnhaas2523 I know funding matters, but it isn’t everything. Zane Smith, Josh Berry, Kyle Larson, etc. doesn’t bring funding, but are in their position because of skill. They can find other partners if they look hard enough. *Kyle Busch with RCR*
I love the NASCAR history of the Wood Brothers team. Like the legend, Junior Johnson, they have been a pillar in NASCAR for decades. Everytime I see the 21 running in the top 10 I’m rooting for whoever is driving. Harrison Burton, with the famous Burton family connection, appears a natural fit. I hope that Harrison can learn and compete and get that 21 into victory lane and perhaps even compete for a NASCAR championship.
@@milanphillips7492 I doubt the team folds, however, Harrison Burton needs to get up there in points. He is young, so I wouldn’t boot him just yet.
Ford was off the pace mist of the year, even Joey and Blaney, who won the Cup was off, so maybe the Dark Horse will be a dark horse and surprise fans. Three drivers I want to see win would be Preece, Harrison Burton and Todd Guilliland. If Ford got it great, they might win and hope Brad will win too. See I think Bowman is more secure *because* he is the low key one. Too many superstars in one place can be like too many cooks in the kitchen. We saw JJ and Jeff Gordon have issues. Alex is a steady team player who doesn’t make waves. If you put 4 superstars at HMS the place would implode. You need a Bowman at a team like that. I think that makes him valuable
This is true.. HMS always needs a craven, or a Schrader, or a nadeau, or a vickers etc etc.. even Larson and Elliot have had minor issues. Can’t tell me it didn’t bother chase that Larson came in and stole his thunder…..always felt that the cup series was 60% driver 40% team.. if you are a great driver and drive for hendrick, Penske, gibbs you have a great shot at winning a title.. if you’re a decent driver on one of those teams you probably won’t win a title but can get a win a season( bowman, cindric) .. if you’re a great driver on subpar team like Kyle Busch you can get multiple wins and compete for a title but probably not gonna ever win it.. when you’re a subpar driver in subpar equipment it’s just wasted space on the track in my opinion
I’m not one to request videos usually, but I have an idea who would be the drivers to watch next season. Maybe you can make it into a video. I nominate these guys:
Chase Elliott – not just because I’m a fan of him, but I!m sure he is also a bit on the hot seat, but not for staying in the team, but for himself. I’m sure he won’t get another winless season this year.
Bubba Wallace and Eric Jones – with the new improved Camry, especially with the super speedway program, I expect both in the play-offs in 2024. As race winners preferably.
The RFK guys – Brad Kesrlowski needs to break the streak of winless seasons, while Chris Buescher is only getting better and better! I expect another strong season by these two men.
Ross Chastain – self explanatory.
Joey Logano – self explanatory again. He does better on even years nonetheless.
Ty Gibbs – this might happen to be his breakout year.
Christopher Bell – the hidden championship favoudite.
